Op zoek naar een uniek privéverblijf aan de rivier of de perfecte ontsnappingscabine? Privacy is overvloedig op het moment dat je de zwarte ijzeren poorten binnengaat en deze ultieme schuilplaats omringd door de Nieuwe Rivier binnengaat. Begin de dag met koffie en / of ontbijt op het dek, luisterend naar de geluiden van de rivier en eindig uw dag rustig in de schommelstoelen luisterend naar de geluiden van de natuur, grillen op de daarvoor bestemde grill. Binnenin vind je een romantische open haard in de grote kamer, samen met satelliet-tv met dvd voor entertainment, wasmachine / droger en een complete keuken. De slaapbank biedt plaats voor de kinderen of extra gasten. Elke kamer is schilderachtig en smaakvol ingericht met moderne meubels en accessoires. Of u nu een weekend of een week doorbrengt, u wilt niet terug naar huis!

Excellent location, great service. Clean, well stocked, great WIFI. The best though is the easy access to the River and town. Todd is a great community. Checkout the Mercantile exchange and River Girls!

Overall nice place

Enjoyed our stay. Nice floor plan and plenty of space for 6 guests. House is dated but clean and comfortable. Hot tub was not in service but we were compensated for not being able to use it.

Our trip to the property was fun for all. The house was clean and tidy, aside from finding a men’s shaving razor in the Jack and Jill bathroom shower upon arrival. It’s advertised for winter time to have 4x4 or chains but honestly I’d say even in the dead of summer it’s probably a good idea to have AWD or 4WD as the driveway is steep and has some loose gravel spots. The house is comfortable, and was stocked well for our trip. The listing does say it has a hot tub, which it does, but it doesn’t work and is roped off. I have to say my family was bummed to find that out when we got there. We did have a small problem with the front door lock being sticky and hard to use and the dryer not working. They sent out a technician who assisted us with the lock but said the dryer would need a someone else to look at. So we just put all our wet clothes out on the deck to try to dry them some. Overall it was a good trip, and my family loves being in the mountains, specifically in Todd, but we may try to stay at a different home next time.

Family Mountain Weekend

Our family of 6 had a great time at Bucky’s Hideaway. The large living room was so nice and the AC worked perfectly. The house was clean and had everything you could want/need. You can hear and (slightly) see the river from the porch- I’m sure the views would be even better in the winter. We hope to go back soon! Note- no cell signal at the property or anywhere in the surrounding area of Todd but the wifi and TV package were great! The GPS leads you to the cabin that shares a driveway so make sure you stay to the right after crossing the bridge.

We stayed for 3 nights. The cabin's interior is just as the photos showed. Clean enough and well appointed. Be warned however that there is a very bright street light right out side of the master bedroom shining all night. The shades in the master are very thin / light filtering at best and the room remains so bright all night. I cannot imagine why they don't at least put up better shades if they cannot turn off the street light. We slept poorly.We complained about this the morning after the first night and the agency said they would send someone over to fix that day and they did not show up. We called again and they finally came the next day (our last) and what they did, did not solve the problem at all.Note, the house is fairly high up above the river on a hill, and there is a poorly maintained and steep trail through the woods to get down to it on which you pass some old beer bottles and broken glass. Once you are down there, the river itself is very nice!Note on driving to the house. You must drive up a very short but very steep and rain rutted gravel road to reach the house. 4 wheel drive recommended.

Family Fun!

Overall we loved this place! We loved where the cabin is located. Far enough away from the city life, but close enough to get what you need! The house itself is wonderful and equipped with pretty much everything you need. The one small issue we had were ants in the cabin. With young children playing on the floor we had to keep sweeping them up. Otherwise wonderful property and easy process!
