Dit mooie huis aan de gracht zal uw verblijf op Marco Island zeker onvergetelijk maken. Ruim, eengezinswoning vol met leuke voorzieningen. Geniet van het uitzicht op het water vanaf de Lanai, of terwijl u gaat zwemmen in het verwarmde zwembad op het westen. Kook op de grill terwijl je geniet van het uitzicht op de baai. Er is zelfs een redelijk groot gazon voor uw hond om rond te rennen. Dit huis heeft ook gratis toegang tot het dock.

Hoewel het huis zelf een geweldige plek is om te verblijven, is het omliggende eiland ook de reis waard. Maak een korte trip naar een van de vele nabijgelegen stranden, waaronder Tiger-tail Beach en Marco Island South Public Beach. Er zijn verschillende vogelobservatiesites en ecotoeristische sites. Vergeet niet om de lokale bezienswaardigheden en geluiden te bekijken, ga lekker dineren en ga winkelen!

Good trip

Nice property

The house is in a very quiet neighborhood yet close to everything. Could have been cleaned a little better and the bedrooms only have table lamps. The pool and canal are great but the double sliding doors to the back of the house could use some curtains for a little privacy if wanted. Overall I would recommend and would stay here again.

Great time!

We really enjoyed our stay here. You can’t beat the view off the living room to the pool to the canal. The house is older so it has its quirks- old showers, old mattresses, and laundry in the garage. But it is super kid friendly. Our girls loved the toys in the garage! We loved being close to Isle of Capri. We stayed for 2 weeks and were done with the beds but they are doable. The kitchen is well stocked but if you want to cook at home just bring a good knife. bring your blender if you do smoothies daily. Bring your own beach chairs. We would rebook this house again!

Nice Marco home

We enjoyed our 2 week stay on Goldcoast Court. The house had tasteful furniture and decor, beautiful landscaping and a nice lanai. The dock worked out well for our boat rental and we even saw dolphin frolicking most evenings from the dock. The pool was quite warm with paid heating. As previous reviewers mentioned the beds were uncomfortable but we knew that going in. I am certain the owner will be replacing the broken front door lock soon, it is quite difficult to use as is and the only other negative to our stay was the kitchen basics. We found everything to be worn out and in need of a refresh. With new pots and pans, glassware etc this could be the perfect rental home.

Won’t stay at this house again.

All in all, the house was ok. The pool was great and the kids loved it. The dock is nice. Location is amazing, we love Marco island. However, on day two of our stay we had a man just walk into the home WHILE I was sleeping. He was there to exterminate. Which is fine, I understand they have a job to do. But just walking through a door where guests are staying is not ok. Not under any circumstances. We contacted the rental property and they said “we will look into it” and we never heard another word from them. Just for this fact alone, we will not stay at this home again. I don’t know how he even got in, as all doors were locked.

Great house and location but major pest problem

The house and pool as well as location were great. Amenities were wonderful. But there were several issues. We rented this house because it had a dock with the access to the Gulf of Mexico. When we arrived, there was a boat parked on the dock that apparently had been left by the previous renters of the house. The property manager did try to come up with a solution for us to park our boat, but it was not going to work so we figured it out on our own. The next afternoon when we again needed to use the dock, the rental boat was gone, which was nice. The most disappointing thing about the whole experience was an alarming number of cockroaches found in the house. I have spent a lot of time in Florida and have come across a roach or two, but we saw and attempted to kill no less than 20 in the house during our stay. I was also greeted by a rat one night when I opened up the grill. Our stay ended on Saturday and on Thursday I received an email from the property management company offering me a late check out for a “limited time.” When I went to select the late checkout option on Friday early evening it was no longer available to me. I contacted the property manager, as well as the management company. The property management company was not helpful and told me that the link expired at 4 PM and that it was auto generated and that there was nothing they could do. The property manager didn’t get back to me until late morning on Saturday when we had already made alternate arrangements.

Lots of short comings, not worth the price paid

This house was stocked well with everything we needed for a vacation with our 4 & 6 year old:great pool, well set up kitchen, oversized washer and dryer, plenty of gas for the BBQ,pretty decor, plenty of clean towels and bedding, cold AC. However... -Terrible experience with Vacasa management company. The water heater was not working, so there were no hot showers or hot water to wash dishes with. We had crying kids when we were trying to get them clean before bed. We contacted Vacasa and they assured me that "someone local" would contact me. I was never contacted. Followed up and still had no answer, no hot water. -We paid over $200 to have the pool heated for our stay, but I don't know what the temperature would have been if we didn't. The water was still pretty chilly. -Someone knocked on our door at 8am the first morning to let us know the power would be off for 4 hours because of construction across the street. It was turned off and then every single day, except for Easter Sunday, they were hammering large cement foundation pieces into the group starting at 8am! It shook the ground at around 90 decibels- no relaxation in a community that has a 24 hour noise ordinance! I took videos of this. -No internet for the first couple of days. Again, was told by Vacasa someone local would contact me. I was never contacted and the Internet just magically started working 24 hours later. -The temp gauge on the BBQ did not work. -Back slider doors are old, fall off the track

The place was wonderful! In fact the inside has been renovated and the pictures don't even reflect that. All new furniture. Everything was clean and probably one of the most relaxing vacations I've ever had. Top notch. I will be visiting here again

Spring Break Get-Away

This is a lovely “home away for home”. The house is very comfortable, had everything that was needed, and was a quiet, peaceful retreat. The pool area is gorgeous looking out over the water. The owners are accommodating, helpful, and cared for our stay. I long to go back!

Great SW Florida Experience

Comfortable and roomy house in a great location. Minutes away from the bay and the channel out towards the Gulf. Easy access and very close to other amenities like marinas and restaurants like the Snook Inn. The furnishing are a little dated, but the house is very comfortable and well equipped. The pool and deck are excellent for cooking out and cooling off after a day on the water. I would highly recommend this house!

Lovely vacay

We loved this place! We don’t want to leave! The house is exactly as shown on photos and descriptions: spacious, comfortable, clean, fully stocked with everything you need for a lovely stay. Plenty of bed sheets, comforters, pillows; beds are comfortable, plenty of hangers in the closets, cushions on the living room, board games, AND two extra rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom. The dock was perfect for our small bote and the trailer fit in the garage. The pool and patio are super comfortable for outdoor/indoor sharing space. You might want to pay the extra charge to heat up the pool if you aren’t coming July/August, water would be too cold for the other months I think. The neighborhood is really nice too, quiet. Had a lovely family vacation in this home. We are all very happy.

Dollar Tree vs Biltmore

Home is in a beautiful setting - circle drive was perfect for parking & view of the canal was awesome. First issue was getting into the house - key code provided was incorrect - the key pad on the lock itself is broke which requires using a lock box - after 40 minutes and a call to the management company we received the "correct" code - were told "someone dropped the ball and did not call you back with correct code" -also two overflowing trash containers. The home is vintage 1960 with a large front room and three bedrooms. If you are a larger person or handicapped, the bathrooms would be a possible issue - sliding shower doors are dated, need attention - also, no grab bars in the showers to assist with getting in or out. Also, no exhaust fans but one does have a heat lamp. Kitchen furnished with a mix match of dollar tree plastic items - had to wash all utensils, dishes, pans etc as they were not clean. Also, dishes provided cannot be used in microwave so be sure to bring paper plates. Fridge doors are out of adjustment and will hang open if you are not careful. Ants everywhere in kitchen - common problem that can be taken care of with bug spray. Recommend you bring all paper products and towels, some provided but not enough for more than a couple days - condition of towels is less than acceptable. Cleaning BBQ is your responsibility - if the previous visitors do not clean it, you will have to before using - exactly what we had to do - however, we did leave it cleaned after our use. Only one working light on back porch. The inside furnishings are a hodge-podge of items that are not the best quality and some are questionable - do not expect to lay in bed and watch TV - the one provided is the size of a computer monitor - sits haphazardly on the dresser in the master bedroom. Again, the neighborhood is beautiful - the pool area is what sells the rental - beautiful layout with plenty of seating area - lights in the pool change colors - we fished off the dock. The items mentioned could easily be corrected which will give a 5-star rating... for us, we did enjoy the stay but for the price paid, we expected more than "Dollar Tree" furnishings! Also, if you want the pool heated, you must pay for it 48-hours in advance...

Nice location...but

Super good location! Everything was as described. Pool was fantastic. The complaints I have would be the kitchen utensils. If you plan on cooking, bring knives. Sharp and steak knives. Luckly for us, we had filets and lobster, but cutting potatoes was a challenge. The pans were good, but the teflan pans need replacing. The king size bed needs something. You sink down into a huge hole and literally have to lift yourself up just to turn. If you sleep with a fan, bring one. We ended up downloading an app for noise. Bathrooms were stocked well with towels and toilet paper. I would suggest bringing more paper with you. (Hence, sandpaper). During our check out time, the bug man came. That should be scheduled after check out. Several of the windows and doors were left unlocked when we arrived. We just assumed that is how the owner wants it, so we left them unlocked as well. Other than that, it is a quiet neighborhood. A great location if you bring a boat. The home was very clean. We went to several of the little islands there. The boat ramp is not too far and at the time of our stay, it was $8.00 to launch. Our trailers fit perfect in the garage, while the boats were in the water. If/when we go back, we will rent this home again if it is available. It was a perfect fit for our family and friends. We will just know what else we need to bring. Lots of eating there as well. Snook Inn was a very popular place. Ubering somewhere is a challenge. It takes anywhere from 9 minutes to 30 minutes to get one. Thanks for allowing us to use your home.

As advertised

It's a nice little house, perfect for a family with 2-3 kids. They had everything we needed for cooking and feeling at home. The pool was adequate and the view was nice. It was pretty quiet, no construction noise like another reviewer stated. We would stay there again. The only major complaint is the property manager showed up and opened the door and poked his head in an hour before checkout while we were still cleaning up and loading the car, as if to herd us towards to door. That was really cheesy.
