De Phoebe (groen) is de meest privé van de NettieBay Cottages met een prachtig uitzicht op NettieBay, ongeveer 1/4 mijl langs de baai, waar u alleen de dokken van de andere huisjes kunt zien. Gelegen in een luifel van groen, zijn er geen directe buren aan beide kanten. Geniet van dit onlangs gerenoveerde huisje met een comfortabele keuken, bad en woonkamer. De beschutte veranda zorgt voor een aangename avond. De Phoebe is een comfortabel uitje met het gezin. Tijdens uw verblijf in het Phoebe vindt u een picknicktafel, een 14 'boot en uw eigen aanlegsteiger; dus voel je vrij om je kano's, kajaks of jetski's mee te nemen in het water. Daarnaast zijn er een paar Adirondack-stoelen om in te ontspannen terwijl u marshmallows boven uw privé-vuurplaats roostert.

Great getaway in the fall

NettieBay was a great getaway moment after the summer season concluded. No one else around except for our hosts--our hosts gave us a nice warm greeting upon our arrival and their communication was awesome. The evenings were silent and best of all, no Wi-Fi! For once we were completely shut off from the rest of the world and left alone to enjoy ourselves. Thank you Mark and wife, Mario & Claudia

Beautiful location

We were very happy with our stay, it was relaxing and absolutely beautiful on the lake. It was also nice being secluded from other cottages. We were disappointed in just a few things: the outlet in the bathroom didn’t work so I could either dry my hair only at the dining room table or in the kitchen because there were also no outlets in the bedroom. The outlet in the living room was not working either :( No tv is fine but we also didn’t have any signal on our phones for texts or calls, which may be important for some people to know when they visit. The front porch light was not working. We tried to change the light bulb but it still didn’t work. We only had 1 extra trash bag. There was one mirror, which was above the sink in the bathroom but it gets foggy and you can’t seem to wipe it clear or see very well in it. Would be great if there was a full length mirror or regular mirror in the bedroom. There were very little essentials. No seasonings for food except a salt substitute and pepper but it seemed old. Other than these small things, which could be corrected, the cottage was great 👍

The stay that never was

There was a mix up with our booking on this site so we did not stay in the cabin. Luckily I called before making the 4 hour drive up. The owners were quick and very responsive to do what they could to correct the situation. Unfortunately all of their other cabins were booked or did not allow dogs. If we decide to travel to this area in the future we would definitely check the availability of this cabin AND confirm with the owners that our reservation was received. NOTE: If you don't receive information about accessing (keys, lockbox, ect.) a rental property close to your arrival date your reservation likely has issues.

Great get away but be prepared

Overall we had an excellent stay! It was really great to have a quiet and peaceful time. The only bitter sweet moments we had is there is hardly any cell service and there is no TV or radio in the cabin, so be prepared for a true disconnect from the outside world. Bring a radio with you. There are some great books to read along with some cards and games in the cabin though. Also I would recommend against this cabin if you are... plus sized so to speak. The bathroom is almost unusable if you are a large framed person. But you are in the woods and if you're the size of a bear.. do as the Roman's do I say! These minor things aside I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for peace and seclusion. I would definitely stay here again.
