The cabin is in an awesome location especially if you don’t like traveling far for fun adventures. It’s definitely not for you if lyoure looking for more privacy. The cabin is rustic - perfect for a couple or 2 couples even or maybe a small family. The only thing I would suggest is update the furniture. The couch was not very comfy and it looked like it needed a good scrubbing. We put a blanket down to sit on it. On a personal note, this getaway with my husband was exactly what we needed. I would stay here again for sho if the furniture was updated.

The cabin was clean but REALLY needs updated furniture. The beds were not comfortable and made so much noise that it would wake you when you turned over. The couch was old and saggy and looked dirty (that could have been the color). No remote for the Roku but office staff were friendly and quick to rectify that. The area was as described and convenient to all areas of the park. The cabin was nice - just needed an update.

Cumberland is conveniently located, cozy and well worth the stay. Hot tub is great way to soak off the days activity. Food and drink is within walking distance, weather per.utting. But you have plenty of privacy.

Spring Break Hiking Stay

We were very pleased with this property. It was in a good location, very clean and the hot tub was a welcome relief after a long day of hiking.

The Cumberland

Excellent stay. Private and semi secluded. Hot tub was fantastic. Cabins were fully furnished with everything we needed. Close to any attractions. Perfect location. Perfect little getaway.

Great Cabin & Location!

This was a wonderful little cabin - the location couldn't be better - it was in the middle of everything! The main road could get a little noisy but it was okay - it was nice and quiet at night. The cabin was cute, clean and comfortable and the hot tub was the icing on the cake.

Nice little place!

Unit definitely could have been cleaner and done something about the musty cabin smell and provide cups. Overall a nice decent unit close to all the tourist things in the area. Hot tub was definitely a nice touch!!

The cabin is very cute. It is I located very near the state park entrance. When we arrived we noticed a very strong musty odor in the cabin and a very humid, sticky atmosphere. The temp on the cabin was 79 degrees. We tried to set the air conditioning lower, but the temp never lowered. We contacted management the next morning and they sent out a technician The repairman was not optimistic about fixing the unit. He said there was something wrong with the coil. We spent another hot, humid night, but woke up miraculously to a cool cabin. The hot tub was very nice. The Directv was also acting up. Again a technician needed to be called to fix the issue. We were very happy with the quick responses of the managing company but the bad air conditioning unit put a literal damper on our trip.

Family Spring Break Trip

This cabin is a great place for a family get away. It’s pet friends so we even got to bring our dog with us. Everything was clean. The only down side was it is super close to the main road so lots of noise. In the Summer, the trees would probably block of lot of it though. But it is in a great location to get to all the sights and trailheads quickly.

My friends and I discovered a mouse crawling around and several bugs. When we notified the person responsible, all they said was that there was a mouse trap in place, but did not do anything else.

Bad/Noisy Location

Cabin is very out of date. We’ve stayed at much nicer properties for the same price. It’s also located right on the main road, right behind some restaurants. One of the restaurants has a loud speaker outside and they come across with blaring messages about tables and orders being ready. It made it very hard to relax in the hot tub.There was firewood placed in our fire pit, but they weren’t logs. Someone put small trees in the fire pit that were 4-5 feet longer than the fire pit was wide. We would have needed a chainsaw to be able to fit up the wood. Overall we were not impressed with this property 😔

SO many mice!!

I get it, it's a cabin. I have stayed at dozens of cabins in my days, you will see bugs/ mice! BUT, So many mice! Saw several, droppings everywhere!! One ate a hole in my new soft side cooler! Road noise was very loud, and the furniture was junk; nowhere comfortable to sit in the entire house! Very disappointed!

Relaxing Get-Away

Nice cabin, nice hot tub, convenient access and parking. Closer to the highway than expected. Satellite TV was broken on arrival. Staff was VERY prompt and courteous and fixed us up with Roku so we would have TV. Staff was A+ to work with. I understand this cabin is "in the woods" and critters are part of it...However... I think cabin needs to be treated for bugs as there were several roaches that were present. Overall good stay, close to mexican restaurant and BBQ that were both pretty good.
