Uncomfortable

The property is in need of serious updating and maintenance. Decking is old and splintered (dangerous to bare feet). Cockroaches and spiders inside. Windows are opaqued with salt. Three of four deck chairs are broken and unusable. Spiral stair access to master suite is difficult for older renters. Rooms are cramped with old furnishings. No turn around on sand driveway. HVAC is rusted and very noisy. Overall, quite an uncomfortable stay.

Beautiful views and decor, great furniture and well stocked kitchen.

Floors were not swept or cleaned upon our arrival. Beds and furniture are in great shape! Great views of the ocean! Only other negative was the boardwalk out to the beach; too many ups and downs/ steps. Wish it was a flat walk like all the others around us! We loved staying at Caswell Beach and our dog felt at home! Thank you!

A great peaceful getaway

We live in N.C. and find that Caswell Beach is a great area for families or couples looking for a great peaceful getaway with privacy beautiful beaches and pet friendly. Oak Island accomodations have been a great property manager each time we have used them and whatever our issue they were prompt to respond.

Disappointed

Great location but house was dirty and in need of repairs. Decking was very old with nails popping and wood splintering. Shower curtain moldy. Kitchen was poorly stocked. Not enough silverware, only one pot lid, no large stock pot, no plastic cups or plates like to take in the deck. We were constantly making due. Dishwasher did Not Clean Anything. Basically had to wash everything by hand. Mattresses were great and bathrooms and kitchen were updated but dirty.

Great location, big enough for 4-6 people. Older property that needs updates soon.

Great location. Needs updates and maintenance to landscaping and roof, windows, boardwalk. A diamond in the rough. Big enough but not too big for 4-6 guests.
