The Aspen Lodge is just what we needed. We elk hunt the area every year. The home had everything we needed. Perfect layout, individual thermostats, individual bathrooms, awesome washer/dryer, etc etc! The host is amazing and let us put our horses on his grass. He also let us use his garage to dry our gear out. Just all around superb.

This property was amazing! It hard to find a cabin with so much room and everyone has their own bathroom. There is enough space for large groups and you have a great outdoor space to just relax. The host Gary is amazing and such a great person. We will definitely be staying here next time we are in Meeker.

Fantastic property!

This is my second time staying at the Aspens Lodge and I couldn’t be happier. Has all the amenities you could possibly need. Great location, spacious and comfortable rooms & beds and having 5 separate bathrooms is wonderful. Love it here and can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful place. Great location and wonderful host! Upgraded internet and each bedroom has a bathroom. Great family memories were created here. Thanks Gary. Look forward to staying with you again.

Aspen lodge

Property was very well maintained. FourLarge bedrooms all with bathrooms Every kitchen accessory needed. Hosts were great. Don’t follow google map for directions- hosts directions we’re good.

4th of July Getaway

We had four couples so this house was perfect. Four bedrooms each with their own bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of items for cooking, baking, etc. The setting is beautiful. Close to fishing and OHV trails. Kenn, the host, was helpful with anything we needed.

Place was great. Only complaint is there is a house right in front of this one that extremely limits the view. Was not expecting another house 40 ft away that host stay in. The house was perfect set up for our group and couldn’t ask for better host service

Beautiful, clean, spacious, well-appointed stay!

My family (with 2 kids) stayed here for four nights and wished we were staying longer. The house is spacious and spotlessly clean and very well-maintained. The kitchen is excellent and has everything you could need. The 4 bedrooms are clean and cozy. The area is quiet and beautiful with excellent hiking and fishing. Gary is a thoughtful and gracious host. This was an excellent VRBO experience. We cannot wait to return.

Beautiful location. Beautiful cabin. Loved walking down the road to see the eagle nest. Fishing across the street. Bugling elks on our fall hike. Not so much a criticism as it was not an issue, but the owner's cabin is super close and blocks most of the view. So if a super private location is what you are looking for, this location is not. But the host is friendly and helpful and not intrusive in any way.

6 guys on annual fishing trip. First time that all 6 of us had zero complaints about where we stayed. Our host, Gary, went above and beyond to accommodate us and all of our gear. The house is spectacular. Not a single loose banister, no peeling plaster, no dripping faucets, and absolutely spotless. It is very obvious that Gary and his wife take great pride in maintaining their place to provide their guests a wonderful stay. Lastly, all 6 of us spent quite a bit of time admiring the local photographs and artwork throughout the house. Provided quite a few conversations and even a few of the beaten path places for us to explore and fish. Don't miss out on this place.

This is a very well maintained and decorated house. Very comfortable and has everything that a family needs. Check in was very easy an the owner who is near by leaves you alone to enjoy your visit. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic Home in a Phenomenal Location

I spent 11 nights in this home with my husband, our kids and their friends. There were 8 of us so this house was perfect. The bedrooms are large and each having its own bathroom was priceless. (It didn't occur to me until after I had reserved that there isn't a single picture of a bathroom on the listing but I decided that since the house has a 5 star rating, it was probably a safe bet and it was. The bathrooms are just as updated and beautiful as the rest of the house.) One of the things I really love is that the outside spaces were just as clean as the inside! The decks (two in front and one in back) are wonderful and were spotlessly clean. I've rented many VRBO's where the outside areas were filthy and covered with spiderwebs because only the inside of the house was regularly cleaned. The is definitely not the case here. Our purpose for coming to Meeker was to off road. We had two ATV's with us and had another family join us who stayed in a hotel in Meeker. This house is located about 19 miles out of Meeker so the drive back and forth was a bit of a hassle (at least 20 minutes in a regular vehicle and closer to 30 in an ATV.) It was totally worth it though! The main road out of Meeker (Hwy 8) runs through a valley alongside the White River. 18 miles out of town, you turn right onto Hwy 10 which crosses the river and runs parallel to it for just a couple of miles before turning back and reconnecting with Hwy 8. There is very little traffic on Hwy 8 and even less on Hwy 10. We often went for walks right down the middle of the street and never had to move for cars. The house is quiet and beautiful and surrounded by nature. There's a bald eagle nest just a few hundred feet down the road, deer and other wildlife visited regularly, and we got to watch cows being herded by ATV's right down the street passed the house! Gary, the host, lives in the house right in front of the rental. I've never had a host live so close but Gary was wonderful and considerate and made us feel perfectly at home. He gave us great info about the area and was extremely thoughtful, even offering to let us use his hose to rinse the mud off our ATV's after a day of off-roading. The off-roading in this area is phenomenal! But if that's not your thing, there is also great hiking, fishing, and even an incredible cave to explore just a few miles of the house. Meeker is a great little town too. This house and location are 5 stars all the way.
