Hello!
So booking this through VRBO, I did not know it was linked with Vacasa. NOT a fan. Let me explain.
Pros:
Location- the best thing about this condo is the proximity of the complex to the beach. I have stayed at this complex before, and the area is on point. The condo itself is directly across from the pool/hot tub area.
Beds - The beds are comfortable. After reading some reviews, we passed on the pull-out sofa and used an air mattress.
Cons:
Communication- The beach code provided did not work. We did not hear back for HOURS. This is a problem when you have a beach vacation.
Stocked- A "fully stocked" condo does not include the following:
-More than one roll of paper towels and 2 toilet paper rolls. After this, you are on your own.
-No blankets. Literally, no extra blankets. I have never stayed somewhere where this was the case.
-No vacuum or broom to assist with sand pickup
-No salt/pepper (just as an FYI).
-Cleanliness- I selected a "5" for cleanliness when we arrived. Surface level? Yes. Don't look too close, at all. Per other reviews, we also did not sit in the chair without using a towel first.
Tips: Bring the aforementioned items if you decide to book -along with trash bags. Bring an eye mask (no blackout curtains, and it is bright in the bedroom), and earplugs (walls are thin).
Was the amount paid worth it? Ehhh- I would go with no.
