The cabin was clean and the lake view good, however you have to walk across a highway to get to the beach. We would have liked a bigger refrigerator and stove.

Great Place to Stay in Gaylord

We really enjoyed staying here for the 4th of July holiday. Everything was neat and clean, Tad was a great host and provided everything we needed.

We were provided 3 towels for 3 people for 5 days. There were no soaps provided in the bathroom. There were no extra blankets provided and we had to call to have the furnace turned on. (Temps outside were in low 40s at night). No sharp knife in the kitchen and the creamers in the cabinets were spoiled. There could be an additional mirror outside of the bathroom. Just a few hooks to hang clothing and little space to put suitcases. Good large fireplace, view and lake access to dock.

Weekend stay

Loved having coffee by the lake. Enjoyed the cabin and the quiet. Stress free and very clean. Hot shower and comforter beds.

Great location right across the street from the lake. Dock access on lake with chairs, fire pit and kayaks.

We had a nice stay. We brought our pontoon and enjoyed cruising the lake. Also paddlborded on the lake. The cabin has the necessities. Bed was comfortable.

My visit

It was clean, beautiful views of the lake, .small and quaint, the only issue was the wifi didn't work. But we were busy great walking,biking, kayaking.

Affordable

The inside appears recently redone and clean. Great little place for two people to stay while golfing in the area. Would be very tight for more than two people. A rustic place with a small shower, coffee maker, small microwave, nice streaming capable TV, fireplace, and comfy beds. Not sure if it has AC.

Wonderful

It was an easy find. The cabin was so nice for how small it was. The dock across the street was AWESOME, with four kayaks and a fire pit. What more can you ask for?! My only negative thought was no AC just two small fans, they got the job done but a small window unit would be a great addition for the cabin. Will deff be back to that cabin again!

The people were friendly, the cabin had a beautiful working fireplace we didn’t get to use because it was July. Could use some soundproofing between the two sides of the cabin. The lake was across the road and they offered free use of kayaks from their dock.

Ok for what we needed it for

Spent a couple nights in the area for family outing. I think some of the pictures of the water and lake are misleading the water front is across a semi busy road and railroad tracks and down a hill not as easy as accessable as portrayed. It worked for us but not a vacation destination for sure.

Completely renovated inside!

The cabin is absolutely beautiful inside, new doors and windows through-out! Exteriors hopefully soon to come. Internet was Intermittent but the owner is very responsive! Dock is on the other side of the road but a short 2 minute walk and you’re on the waters edge with views that can not be rivaled! I will be back to this awesome experience!!

Good value

The lake is beautiful. It is across a road with traffic but amazing. The description said mini fridge but it didn’t work and we had to buy ice everyday that melted and was a hassle. The carpet was dirty. A rustic stay but a decent value for the cost.

We enjoyed our stay. It was very clean inside which is the most important. It was very small though. The outside was not very nice. There was a pile of branches in the drive, the trimming had not been done in weeks. It was very hard to get across the road because it was so busy. Then you had to cross the railroad tracks and down many steps to get to the lake.
