Dit rustieke en comfortabele appartement is centraal gelegen op 500 meter van de promenade in de buurt van het historische Chateau Frontenac Hotel.

De muren van de versterkte oude stad liggen net buiten de deur van ons appartement met eigen dikke muren. Vanaf deze locatie liggen alle bezienswaardigheden van de oude stad voor de deur. Of u nu komt winkelen, eten, bezienswaardigheden bekijken of gewoon ademt in de ambiance van onze prachtige stad, u zult centraal gelegen zijn om dit te doen vanuit dit appartement. Als u van skiën houdt, liggen zowel Stoneham als Mont Ste-Anne 30 minuten op de snelweg.

Het appartement is mooi ingericht en natuurlijk versierd met stenen muren en houten balken in het plafond. Kom en geniet van een klein stukje geschiedenis terwijl u verblijft in de enige vestingstad in Noord-Amerika.

a wonderful spot!

The Sweeney’s were wonderful hosts! The apartment was exactly as described, very clean, charming, and in a fantastic location. Everything in the old city is a short walk away and there are pretty views right from the door. We hope to go back some time!!

Great Location for Exploring QC

We loved our stay in the "Little Door" apartment. We felt like locals and the location was perfect for 2 people. The property manager was very helpful and spoke excellent English. It was nice to have a kitchen and sitting area, bed was comfy and apartment was clean! We would stay here again.

Perfect location

This is a delighful little condo, on the ramparts overlooking the port. Everything we needed for self-catering was there. Carol was there to meet us on our arrival and had lots of useful tips on places to visit, eat etc. And did I mention we loved the place and adored Québec City?

Little door is in the best location. We felt like locals, down in our quaint apartment. Just a short walk to all the attractions, restaurants and a practical grocery store. We also dined twice at Chez Temporel, loved it there. No noisy, really good food

Location & Charm

Very clean and conveniently located. Able to walk everywhere and come and go as we pleased. Accommodations were clean and updated. Bed was comfortable and bathroom newly renovated. The owners thought of everything we might need and were very easy to get in touch with. Excellent price. We loved our trip to Quebec City.

Great for couple

We had a great week at this perfect little condo. Amazing location, quaint, view of the marina across the street. Quiet, nice and dark at night, comfy bed. Big soaker tub. Central to everything we needed in the Old City. Everything was perfect. Would stay here again. Owners speak English and French and are always available by text.

Wonderful apartment right in old town

This apartment has everything a couple would need for a wonderful stay. We stayed for nine nights and did not want for anything. There is a fully stocked kitchen to cook, a TV with multiple stations and a totally renovated bathroom. The pictures online are outdated. There is new living room furniture. We stayed in August, and were not hot the entire time, even though the apartment does not have air conditioning. We will return.

Perfect location; GREAT hosts!!

This was the perfect location for our stay in Quebec city. It was an easy walk (although uphill) to all the shops and restaurants, and enough removed that it was nice and quiet. The views over the wall from outside the front door were amazing. I would recommend staying here! We are a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 teens. It was a good size for us to spread out. The owner was fabulous. Super responsive and they were out of town, so had a friend "check us in" which was very helpful and much appreciated. We'd love to stay again. Note: there is no air conditioning, which we found to be typical in old QC, there is a large fan in the apartment and we brought a couple small fans. So glad we did because we caught a hot hot week in July. We can't wait to go back!

Amazing property

Location location location. Ed and Carol (property managers) met us and made the check in process extremely easy. More importantly they gave us detailed directions on how to get to all the major areas that we wanted to visit. All of them were really close. The property had just had some recent renovations and they were great. The property is very cozy. A fantastic respite after long days and many stairs. Full kitchen but we used in mainly for keeping our beer and wine cold. There’s a store very close by for cheese, crackers and virtually anything else you’d need for a short stay. You can literally walk anywhere In upper and lower old Quebec. We’ll be back.

Great Location!

This property is located on the edge of Old Quebec City near the water. It was a great location and parking was available for a minimal fee so we were able to walk everywhere. The owners were friendly and easy to access. We did not eat here a lot because we wanted to experience some of the restaurants, but the kitchen was well stocked and close to a small market. We spent three full days in Old Quebec City which was a good amount of time for seeing most of the sights. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything you need

Carol and Ed were absolutely wonderfully helpful. The apartment is between upper and lower town and convenient to everything one would want. Our stay was comfortable, quiet and clean. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Location, Cute Place

My wife and I enjoyed our stay behind the "little door." The apartment was cozy and more than big enough for the two of us, who really only spent mornings and nights there, as there's so much to do. The location on the Quebec city wall is great, and we spent a number of evenings sitting on a bench looking at the St. Lawrence. Carol is very nice and offered lots of suggestions for places to eat and visit. One small issue: perhaps this is just an August thing, but upon arrival Carol noted we'd need to periodically empty the water tray in a humidifier plugged in to a wall in the living room, which seemed like no big deal. But it beeps five times when it's full, and that happened in the middle of our first night. After that, we made sure to empty it before bed, but it needed emptying more than once most days. Not a huge deal, but maybe there's a workaround? The place is great, though, and we'd be happy to go again.

Unique Place and Experience

QC is a uniquely charming place! The rental property suited our purpose. The bedroom is "cave-like" to quote the owner. Extremely convenient location. Parking available on owner's nearby small lot for a fee. Stunning views from the front of the house once you go to up the steps. Keeping the doors open while at home would be fun as the window cannot be opened. Some cleanliness issues were brought to owner's attention which according to her will be taken care of for future visitors. I was grateful that place was made available to me by noon. Thanks, Carol, for everything.

Excellent location and wonderful condo!

Carol and her husband met us, showed us around the condo and gave us great suggestions of places to go etc. We walked and enjoyed the area for a while but unfortunately we had to leave due to an emergency at home. All I can say we will return and definately want to stay at this condo!!!! It was just amazing, clean and all the amenities you need.

The Old City allows you to step back to the year 1608 when Samuel Champlain came and founded what has become a UNESCO World Heritage site. When we first came to Quebec on our honeymoon we decided that this would be the place where we would set down roots and begin our family. Six children later the roots are too deep to pull up so it looks like the Old City is stuck with us!

The benefit of a stay at the Little Door is the '5-Factor' Leaving the front door and walking for about 5 minutes puts you in touch with some of the best restaurants in North America. You desire crepes for breakfast? Why not stop at Casse Crepe Breton and watch as they make them before you eyes stuffing them with fresh fruit... chocolate... and whip cream for those have been good boys during their travels! You want to discover antique shopping... no problem... 5 minutes on foot. You desire a lovely stroll along the St. Lawrence River... no problem... 5 minutes on foot. You would like to take in a pub and have a glass of wine or a pint of your choice... you got it ... 5 minutes! So, the '5-factor' is alive an well at the Little Door condo.
