Large balcony was nice with a perfect beach view. Room was clean and nice.

Had a great weekend, the apartment was great and clean.. the perfect spot.. all super great now the only down side was the fact that this building only had one elevator, on our last day the elevator broke down and we were on the 5th floor we had to go down the stairs with very heavy stuff and that’s dangerous because what if there’s someone with a wheelchair and the elevator breaks, or if an ambulance need to go with a gurney.. is not hood just one elevator.

Although we enjoyed our stay, we would not book this unit again. The unit was clean and kitchen well stocked for our needs. Some improvements could be made to update the unit, such as: sofa and chairs in den were pretty uncomfortable, especially the sofa. Would be helpful to have instructions for the tvs - could not ever figure out how to get the master bedroom tv to work. Shower current rod in master bath needs to be replaced and shower curtain is moldy. Also there are no bars to help with tub entrance and exit. Handle on sink in hall bath needs repairing. Light over stove does not funtion. Door on the refrigerator should be switched to open the opposite way. Trash dumpster needs to be more convenient to get to. Balcony floor needs to be cleaned. The entrance to the complex needs a larger, well lit sign. Difficult to see at night where entrance is. The unit served our purposes for this visit - just 2 people, but it is not one we were wowed by as we have been in past stays at Orange Beach.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Bender was great in communicating before we arrived. They provided everything we needed to know. The staff were very nice and courteous and very responsive. The condo was clean and well equipped. The beds were comfortable. The furniture in the dining and living room provided plenty of seating but the furniture is outdated and not very comfortable. The primary suite bath needs a new shower curtain rod. It held the shower curtain but was damaged from what appeared to be a long time. The toilet in the primary suite sits very low to the floor and could use a handicapped (comfort height) toilet. Older people or someone with joint issues could find it very difficult to get up from the toilet. The view of the ocean from the unit was beautiful and unobstructed. The balcony was nice and had plenty of seating. The HVAC worked great and kept the unit cool. It was very hot outside. The biggest complaint from the stay was the elevator. We arrived Friday evening and left Sunday morning. The elevator was out of service most of the day on Saturday. A technician arrived late Saturday evening and repaired the elevator. The elevator worked first thing Sunday morning but was out of service again by 8:30 a.m. We had to check out by 10 a.m. and it wasn't working when we left. We had to carry everything down the stairwell that wasn't well lit or ventilated. Heavy coolers and suitcases combined with hot temps. meant heavy sweating by the time we got everything to our vehicle. Things break but the sign in the elevator suggests that this might happen on a regular basis. We might consider staying here again but it would only be on the first or second floor unless a permanent solution is reached concerning the elevator. Overall, the stay was good but 5C could use some updating.

We're glad you enjoyed your stay in this beachfront condo in Orange Beach. Elevator outages are a big inconvenience, and we regret that it occurred during your stay, particularly as you were packing to leave. We do happen to have a one bedroom unit in Romar Tower that is on the first floor above parking. If you need a two bedroom condo, we have many in Gulf Shores. We hope to have the chance to host you in the future.
