Live as a local in this just remodeled home located in an XVIII Century building - next to Old San Juan's most famous street: San Sebastian.

The apt. is 15' away from SJU Airport and walking distance to the Cruise Terminals - Highly recommended if you are sailing on a cruise after your stay.

Old San Juan is an enchanted area: full of colored buildings; the Castle "San Felipe del Morro" and forts; typical Puerto Rican restaurants and bars; famous neighborhood "La Perla"; and walking distance to your favorite shops - Marshalls, Walgreens, Gift shops, local shops, etc.

Our building is located just on the north side of Old San Juan, near the most historic fort in the island, El Morro.

Neighborhood adults Getaway

Old Town San Juan is an amzingly beautiful place with plenty of places to eat, drink, and be merry! The Villa is in an ideal location with easy walking distance to all of Old San Juan. There is an open courtyard in the center of the rooms, in a U shape. 2 bedrooms upstairs that are accessed by a metal spiral staircase, so getting out luggage up was a small challenge. Downstairs is the kitchen, dinning area, living room, and 3rd bedroom. The AC units worked well except for 1 upstairs bedroom. It was glitchy and one night did not work at all. We did notify the house manager but noone was out to look at it. When it rains, it is loud echoing through the courtyard, but i love that sound so it was great sleeping in and hurkle-durkling in the morning!

Great place, close to everything

The place was in a great location and all amenities are as listed. There's a bedroom downstairs and two upstairs, up a narrow spiral staircase. We planned accordingly and had the less able bodied folks downstairs. It's a lovely place with well working a/c and a cute courtyard.

It's ok

This rental is all about it's location! Perfectly in walking distance to all the lovely things Old San Juan has to offer. Secure. Quiet. This is the place to book if you plan to use your feet to get around. Oh dear Lord and you should too because the parking looks like a beast and the roads are crazy narrow so I would be terrified driving a car. But maybe that's just me. As for the rental itself..let's start with the bad and get to the good next. Cons: Not cleaned the best. Dirt and hair and other ish on surfaces that could of easily been cleaned and ready for new guests. Smelled like mildew but giving grace on that since it's in a very old building that deals with hurricanes and such. Lack of info upon arrival. Typically vacation rentals have some kind of welcome binder that gives you the break down of what's what ( where to dispose of garbage, check out info, recommendations for things in the area, etc). There was nothing on that front. NO nothing to cook anything in the oven. There is an oven but not even a baking sheet or anything to utilize the thing. On top of that 3 out of the 4 stove top burners did not work. So lame. Pros: Lots and lots of space Loved the vibe Air conditioning in the bedrooms worked awesome Very comfy couch Overall I wouldn't personally stay here again. Maybe I'm fussy.
