Thank you for your wonderful review, Kevin! We're honored to hear that this was one of the nicest cabins you've stayed in and that you enjoyed the gorgeous views from the decks. We're also glad our team was able to respond quickly and help with the pool issue during your stay. Thank you for sharing your experience with the local wildlife as well. Seeing bears is certainly one of the unique aspects of visiting the Smokies! We appreciate your reminder to future guests about keeping doors locked and storing food and trash properly. Respecting wildlife and following bear-safe practices helps keep both our guests and the bears safe. Thank you for choosing to stay with us, and we hope to welcome you back for another memorable Smoky Mountain getaway soon! 🐻🏞️🏡😊

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad to hear the home met your needs overall and that the kitchen and dining space worked well for your group — especially when cooking for a crowd! We also appreciate your kind words about our responsiveness and communication. That said, we’re truly sorry to hear about the issue with bugs and the condition of the sheets — that’s definitely not the experience we want for our guests. While it’s true the area can come with its fair share of nature (especially during certain seasons), your comments make it clear that we need to step up our efforts with pre-arrival cleaning and overall maintenance. We take cleanliness seriously, and we’ll be addressing this with our cleaning team immediately. We also appreciate your note about the home and deck needing updates — we’re actively planning improvements and your input helps us prioritize. Thank you again for your honest review — it helps us improve, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again with a better experience.

Thank you for leaving your feedback concerning the items that you mentioned. We have purchased new screens and frames and will be replacing them all soon. We also did a deep clean on the grill as it is a newer Weber grill where it appears someone may have poured grease down on their food. It is all cleaned up now. The cabin does have a lovely view and is a wonderful place to stay will visiting the mountains.
