Convenient, but needs new furniture

Great location and a well sized rental option. The spiral staircase adds a nice touch. There wasn’t a grill for grilling, but the kitchen was well stocked with cookware and the television/wifi offered decent options when weather wasn’t cooperating. The couch needs replaced (offers no support and almost hard to climb out of as if the base has collapsed). The master bed is extremely uncomfortable if you aren’t a super-firm matress fan. We couldn’t get a good night of sleep. Interior looks great and has a solid beach vacation vibe. All in all, a decent rental, but could really use some furniture upgrades.

Needs updates

Cute but very small. Good location. The stairs were so shaky I thought they were going to collapse and seemed to be very dangerous. Also. Very little drawer space in the bedrooms. Bunk beds also very unstable. I would rate this 3.5/5 if I could. It was clean.

Perfect location

This house was perfectly located between the beach and the fitness center. Worked out every morning and it was easy walking back to get ready for the beach.

Great location

This is a large unit with many beautiful wooded views out the windows. We loved the kids' toys and games! Note that the only staircase is a spiral staircase, which can be tough for young kids or anyone with mobility difficulties.

Nice clean and a lot of space

This is a well equipped place for me and my 2 teen kids. The walk to the beach is short and everything was great on the trip.

Nice location, but not cleaned

Our stay at Sea colony was great, we loved the location and the floor plan was perfect for what we needed. The place was probably great for families without the pandemic, but a lot of the amenities were closed so it was kind of a pain to walk all the kids to the nearest open pool, which was across the highway. When I booked and paid for my vacation I purposely wanted it close to a pool. The property was outdated but I knew that from the pictures so it was fine, but it was not cleaned properly at all. The shower had balls of hair in the drains, the kitchen was sticky, the refrigerator wasn’t cleaned from the last renter, and there were ants everywhere. We called about the ants, and they sprayed but it didn’t really help. Just made sure you bring your own cleaning products if you rent this property.

Depressing condo unit

I am sorry to say that when my husband and I arrived, the sidewalks and deck were covered in pine ( and mulch) and did not look welcoming at all. There were outdated Christmas trees and garlands on the fireplace mantle, the carpet was filthy and I was afraid to have my grandchildren crawling around on it. The worst part was the strong smell of mildew and what I think might be mold. We almost didn't stay. I developed a sinus infection mid week. I wouldn't consider myself to be too fussy of a person, but I was seriously embarrassed to bring my family in the next day. Check in tried to say I only got 1 parking pass so I had to argue about that. Check in also did not have all 6 of my beach passes that I purchased so we had to go around about that. The pool situation was disappointing, but I can kind of understand the situation with Covid. We have been coming to Sea Colony for 25 years so familiar with the process.

Quaint and functional

This is the fourth different Sea Colony property we've stayed at. The decor is quaint, but the layout, location, and general functionality of the unit matches all the others we've stayed at in Sea Colony. Would certainly stay there again.

Everything was great. The condo was a little out dated and had old cob webs on the ceilings

Enjoyed the resort and it’s amenities very much. Wish we could have had our son’s dog stay with us. Was a very dog friendly resort but only for owners not guests

Great Experience

The property was adequate for the 2 adults and 5 children present. We made great use of the screened in porch as it rained daily/nightly. The property was fairly clean. The sofa was exceptional! My daughter chose that as her bed for the week because of its comfort. Definitely will book this place again!
