Tory Lake is a small, peaceful lake. There are very few motorized watercraft as most residents prefer a quiet paddle. Help yourself to our canoe, kayak, SUP, or pedal boat. Jump off the large dock into the deep, clear water. If you like to fish, the lake is stocked every year with rainbow trout. You'll hear the call of the friendly loons and you might even catch a glimpse of an otter or a beaver out for a swim. Cap off your day with a beautiful sunset and a sky full of stars.
Access to our cottage road is via Lee's Road from Hwy 503. There is no access from Anderson Road, even if your GPS tells you otherwise!
If you're coming in the winter, a vehicle with all-wheel drive or snow tires is a must. The road is cleared by one of the neighbours but it's pretty steep in some places.
A 15-minute drive will get you to the nearest grocery store and LCBO. Plenty of great hiking and cross-country skiing/snowshoeing trails nearby and only 25 minutes to the beautiful town of Haliburton.
