What a wonderful peaceful home with a bedroom for each of us four moms. Buddhas , good calming vibes, right in a forest but close to the the ocean , Pelican Inn ,Mill Valley and Muir Woods . Perfect! Thank you!

Great place to stay. Only drawback is we booked for 8 people and the fourth bedroom is a sofabed which was not even made up. It really should be a bed in there - or set up nicely beforehand when we paid extra for 8. Also only 7 pillows in the whole house. Really should be two per person. And only 6 wine glasses. Tara was very responsive and ordered more so hopefully this will be rectified for future stays! They just didn’t arrive in time for us. Parking also limited for a place for 8. Only 3 spaces.

The house is beautiful. It really is in a lovely wooded setting and makes you feel like you are at a retreat while being so close (a short drive) from downtown Mill Valley. It was well stocked with extra bedding and blankets as well as kitchen essentials. We primarily used Uber and had no difficulty getting them at the property. Having a keypad check in keeps things easy, and the host was very responsive and communicative. We rented this as a group of friends in town for a wedding and thought it was a great launching pad for exploring the area. Would love to spend more time getting into the nature around the house that is just steps away! Would recommend staying here.

The house is older but clean, there are 3 bedrooms and what seemed to be a yoga room with a sofa bed that was not ideal (thin mattress) while the Master bedroom bed was a mattress plus a topper and quite high off the ground. The other 2 bedrooms are adequate for 2 people. The home is in a wooded area and during our stay I saw a young cougar in the backyard, so please watch out for your small dogs!

Very cute and cozy home! Its location was perfect. Super close to Muir Woods, Mt. Tamalpias, and Stinson Beach. It was a great place to really disconnect from the real world for a bit. I would definitely stay here again

We had a great stay, loved the vibes and location. We didn’t notice the no TV part on the listing but enjoyed the relaxing detox it provided. The beds were not comfortable, particularly the sofa bed was pretty tough. Overall it really met our needs and we had everything we needed but recommend reading all the details to make sure it works for you before booking.

Great stay!

My girlfriends and I stayed here the night before my wedding to be close to the venue and have a place to get ready in the morning. We had a wonderful stay and the hosts were very accommodating! :)

Excellent Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Rob and Tara's place. It was a breeze to commute to Muir Woods as we could avoid the traffic. Their place is situated in the middle of nature and has all the amenities we could have asked for.

We like the place

We all enjoyed stay at the beautiful Mill Valley and this cozy house. Dogs had a good time! It is close to SF so we spent day time there for the wonderful tour. We will come again!

The house was clean and comfortable. The only thing we didn't care for was the mattress was too firm in the primary bed, but overall it's a nice place and there is wildlife around. We got in late and left early so we really only slept in the home.

Charming House

This is a charming property tucked away just 100 yards or so from a local park. Very quiet and serene. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Convenient and functional

Conveniently located and functional for us (1 adult and 4 kids). Communication was great and check in/out was simple and easy. Would gladly stay there again in the future.

Great quiet location in Mill Valley

We had a very pleasant stay in this property. We were there to run the Miwok 100k race which starts in Stinson Beach, and location was perfect for us. The house has a very nice and large living area which is perfect for relaxing, and it is nested in the woods, which is very nice and quiet.

Outstanding

We are return guets at this amazing sanctuary. We love the location and peaceful quiet surroundings. Just what we look for. Tara and Rob are outstanding hosts caring and responsive. Will be back again!

Perfect Location

This home is perfectly located for availing oneself of all the great things to do in the SF Bay area. This is a warm and comfortable home to use as a base to explore SF, Sausalito, the Muir Redwood Forest and the gorgeous Marin coastline. The hosts were amazing. We appreciate the hospitality you provided and thank you for sharing this wonderful, warm and peaceful space for our base in exploring the area. We look forward to returning again.

Magical hideaway

Came here with our adult children. Magical hideaway perfect for our taste, quiet, unassuming charm, away from hustle bustle areas but within minutes of San Fran Sausalito and other areas. Endless walks, wild turkeys, wild berries and plums. Amazing hosts quickly responding to communication, will definitely come back.

Nice place

The ad is correct, it is quiet and serene. Located conveniently near Muir Woods, Golden Gate, Bridge, and downtown San Francisco. Quiet evenings outside on the back deck are very nice, lots of wildlife, a local grey longhair cat, and a family of deer visit every night and meander through unalarmec only 20 feet away. Very cool.

Nice location.

The location was very private, we didnt know there's a quite renter in a place under main house. The gas fireplace was nice on foggy days. There's No Television
