We had a fantastic stay at Bluemont! The house was so clean and has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay. The grounds are just beautiful and lush. We got to watch a group of baby deer frolicking around the backyard through the window. We had a fantastic dinner at Magnolia at the Mill in nearby Purcellville. Highly recommend this home. The host was so kind and provided excellent communication and directions.

Absolutely beautiful stay

This was one of the best VRBO experiences I’ve had! Communication with the host was exceptional, and the home itself was gorgeous. It’s clear they have put a lot of thought into make this house a perfect getaway — it is beautifully decorated and has all the comforts of home. We will definitely stay here again!

The property was beautiful with a large back yard and fire pit to enjoy the beautiful evenings. The house was spacious enough for a family or multiple couples. The house was clean upon check-in, comfortable beds, and all the essentials for cooking and laundry. My favorite spot was the sitting room which allowed for a comfortable gathering spot for multiple people.The property is located on a quiet street and within minutes to local wineries. I would book this property again if in the area.Thank you Michael.

We absolutely loved this historic home. The listing was perfectly accurate, and the property itself was exceptionally well kept with thoughtful amenities throughout. The guest robes were such a nice touch. We brought quite a few items since we were attending our son’s wedding, but everything you need, including bathroom essentials, was provided. We were also amazed at how many amenities were provided even in the laundry area. The setting around the home is truly wonderful. The porch and fire pit create a peaceful, private space, and the greenery surrounding the property makes you feel tucked away in your own little retreat. The king bed was incredibly comfortable, and the linens were amazing. We even made note of the mattress! The location couldn’t be better, especially if you plan to visit the nearby wineries or breweries. Communication was excellent, and check‑in was effortless. It was the perfect place for us to stay while celebrating our son’s wedding.We agree that we want to go back when we have time to relax and visit the local breweries!!!

This house was awesome! Minutes away from Bluemont Vineyard where we were attending a wedding so ideal location. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed. Extra linens and towels. We didn't need to bring anything extra with us, the place had everything we needed. Very clear instructions. If the weather was nicer we would have loved to enjoy the outdoor space. Very clean. Would book again!

Beautiful historic charm with all the modern amenities

No need to look any further! Beautiful, clean,historic home in a perfect location. Close to wineries, breweries, Shenandoah River, hiking and only 45 minutes from DC. The host was very accommodating and friendly as well. We would highly recommend this home for you and your family.

Great Bluemont Getaway

Loved this cottage. The back garden is amazing with a firepit and mini playground. The house is very comfortable with all the necessary amenities and convenient to local breweries and wineries. Will definitely rent again!

Small town retreat

We really enjoyed stepping back into the past with all of the modern amenities. This home is beautifully maintained in the quiet town of Bluemont. Located close enough to restaurants and activities while maintaining the quiet feel of a retreat. We highly recommend.

Beautiful Stay in Bluemont

We had a lovely long weekend at Michael’s property. The house was gorgeous, with a well-appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, and lots of wonderful touches like white noise machines in the bedrooms. Location is wonderful, too: close to lots of great wineries and outdoor activities. Michael was a great communicator, too! Would definitely stay here again!

Michael was very easy to work with. Responded in minutes to any questions I had. He left a delicious bottle of wine in the fridge for us. Location was perfect proximity to all the wineries and breweries we wanted to visit. House was wonderful, even the squeaky floors. Would definitely rent the house again. Love this home!

We were repeat guests to this lovely farmhouse. The location is perfect with access to the highway close by while feeling nestled in a small village in this beautiful area around Upperville, Virginia. If you enjoy historic homes, with the benefit of luxury bedding and updated bathrooms, this is the place to be. Hope to be back again!

The cleanest VRBO ever

Not only was the house charming, but it was immaculate. The entire group commented about the cleanliness of the house. The host was very responsive to all of our questions. It was the perfect spot for our weekend wedding trip. Lots of restaurants, vineyards, breweries and beautiful scenery. We would definitely stay again.

A gem of a house!

The house was perfect. So charming -- everything was beautiful and tastefully done. The rooms are very spacious. All of the appliances are great, and everything we needed was right at our fingertips. There were four adults in our party and there was plenty of room to gather together and plenty of room to be on our own when we needed to. Highly recommend.

Very nice home. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the patio in the back yard with the great weather. It’s a short walk to the town general store. Buying ice cream and sitting on their front porch was classic yesteryear. Very comfortable and well supplied home. Wish we were there longer.

Beautiful Bluemont

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful farmhouse in the heart of Bluemont! The home is well decorated, warm and quaint and is outfitted with everything you need for a lovely vacation. Michael stayed in touch and was available to answer any questions we had. He also provided a very helpful guide to great restaurants and activities in the area. We visited many of the restaurants, vineyards and breweries he recommended and had the most wonderful time. We can't wait to come back!
