Parkeer uw auto bij Blue Rose Cottage ... en laat het daar voor de rest van uw vakantie. Dit liefdevol gerestaureerde, authentieke Bar Harbor huis ligt in een rustige straat, maar toch op loopafstand van alles wat je wilt zien en doen in Bar Harbor. Veel aanbiedingen zullen "Bar Harbor" zeggen, maar dat betekent vaak de grotere stad Bar Harbor en je zult te maken krijgen met autorijden en parkeren. Niet in Blue Rose cottage. Het ligt in het hart van het historische dorp Bar Harbor

Vrijwel alles is ofwel geheel nieuw of volledig gerestaureerd: roestvrijstalen apparaten, bedden en beddengoed, meubels, verf en brede eiken plankenvloeren. Blue Rose cottage is professioneel beheerd en wordt uitsluitend gebruikt als vakantiewoning, zodat u niet hoeft te doen met andermans spullen.

Het huis heeft een eigen afgesloten binnenplaats, met een gasgrill en een picknicktafel, perfect voor leuke en familie-BBQ's.

De omheinde voortuin is open en zonnig met Fire Pit, outdoor Adirondack stoelen - perfect voor koffie in de ochtend, 's middags thee, en' s avonds brand in een kille nacht.

Gratis snelle wifi, kabel-tv en een gameconsole behoren tot de moderne voorzieningen die u hier ook kunt vinden.

EERSTE VERDIEPING: Ga door een veranda met drie seizoenen en rieten stoelen naar de woonkamer met originele hardhouten vloeren, kabeltelevisie, Netflix en comfortabele meubels.

De keuken is voorzien van gloednieuwe roestvrijstalen apparaten en een eethoek met een tafel voor zeven die converteert naar een speeltafel.

Twee slaapkamers bevinden zich ook op de eerste verdieping. Een met een eenpersoonsbed en de andere met een tweepersoonsbed.

TWEEDE VERDIEPING: De extra grote slaapkamer met een queensize bed, nachtkastjes en een kast met 8 laden.

Er is nog een slaapkamer met twee bijpassende tweelingen en drie laden.

De badkamer is onlangs gerenoveerd met een bad en een douche.

PORCH / DEK: Afgesloten veranda ... en omheinde binnenplaats met gas grill, vuurplaats en casual meubilair voor buiten genieten.

Cutest cottage in great location! Immaculately clean, quaint little house that was just perfect for my mom, brother and I to stay. Loved the original hardwood floors combined with updated finishes to feel cozy but comfortable. Enjoyed the fire pit in front yard, walking around town and easy access to hiking. Wish we could have stayed even longer!!

This was our first visit to Bar Harbour and we found a great place to stay with our dog, Zephyr .The atmosphere is wonderful and people were super-friendly. The cottage is in an ideal location for walking literally everywhere, from the grocery store to Bar Island, the Historical Society, Abbe Museum and the shore walk. We just parked our car in the spot in front of the cottage and did not use it again all week! The lobstah rolls, schooner sail and trolley tour were fabulous and Zephyr made lots of friends and was welcomed into many of the stores and outdoor dining spots.Such a beautiful little village and harbour with Acadia on its doorstep.Definitely an experience to be repeated.Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We had a great stay at this property in Bar Harbor. It is a really excellent location, walking distance to everything in town and 5 minutes from Acadia NP. We appreciated the off-street parking and how well stocked the place was - lots of every supply we would need. The mattresses were the best I've ever slept on in a vacation rental. Thanks for the great stay!

Super cute house in the PERFECT location! The house is within walking distance to downtown Bar Harbor and about a ten minute drive to Acadia! It is clean and has all the comforts of home. Would definitely stay here again!

We were very pleased with our stay. Hong and Logan were communicative and provided helpful information about the area. Check in was easy, the home was clean and comfortable. We could walk to all of the shops and restaurants downtown and we appreciated that there was off-street parking (enough for two vehicles) which is almost impossible downtown. We would absolutely stay again/recommend to friends.

This visit to Bar Harbor was fantastic! The home was perfect for our family of 6. Being right in Bar Harbor gave us numerous opportunities to walk about. I was even able to leave the front door of the house and trail run in Acadia without having to drive into the park.Will definitely be returning to Maine!

Great Location!

We couldn't have asked for a better location. We were within walking distance to everything downtown. The house itself was very clean and was a perfect size for our group of four plus one dog :) Having off street parking was convenient. We would definitely stay there again!

Perfect location!

This is the perfect house to stay at if you are looking for a location in downtown Bar Harbor! We were just steps away from everything, and Logan and Hong are absolutely wonderful hosts! They were kind, responsive, and informative. The house was extremely clean, the had every amenity you could need, and they made for a wonderful experience :)

What a great location! The home was central to everything, cuter than the photos and so well stocked with everything we needed. Loved the backyard picnic area as well as the fire pit in front. The owners were great communicators and made the entire process so easy. Would love to stay again for longer and experience more of Bar Harbor and Acadia.

Our first visit to Maine! The owners of this cute little house restored this old house and supplied the house with all the necessities needed to make our stay comfortable. The welcome basket was a nice little touch to greet you when coming in the door. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great Location!

We had a lovely time at the Blue Rose Cottage. It was more than enough room for our family (two adults, one child, and one small dog). We loved being able to walk to town to catch the island explorer into Acadia, enjoy the shops, or just hang out on the green. The house was clean and the yard is nice with a fire pit in the front yard.

Location location location!

We are four women on a getaway weekend and absolutely love this cottage. We would all come back here again. The cottage is clean and well appointed. Most importantly the neighborhood is quiet and the cottage is in a central location near downtown. So it’s an easy walk and an easy bike ride to Acadia! Highly recommend!

We just returned from our...

We just returned from our vacation, and wanted to thank you for a lovely stay at Blue Rose Cottage. Wish the weather was more cooperative, but we managed to get out hiking everyday, and even used the YMCA one day for swimming (the kids) and a work-out (us parents)! We really enjoyed the game table and the movie selection. Our kids watched “Ace Ventura” two nights in a row and have proclaimed it their new “favorite movie”. The proximity to town was great as well. Just a note for any future guests with celiac disease…our 9 year old son has celiac disease and is therefore on a gluten-free diet. We were THRILLED to find that Miguel’s on Rodick has a gluten-free menu. The Alternative Market also was able to accommodate his dietary needs. Again, thanks very much for “sharing” your home. We hope we can stay there again sometime!!

As a frequent traveler, I can confidently say that our recent stay at Blue Rose Cottage in Bar Harbor was one of our best experiences yet. From the moment we booked, Hong and Logan were incredibly welcoming and communicative, providing us with all the information we needed for our stay. The location of the house is unbeatable. Situated just a block away from Main Street, we had easy access to a variety of shops and restaurants. This proximity, combined with the short drive to Acadia National Park's stunning sights, made our trip both convenient and enjoyable. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a charming and exceptionally clean home that instantly felt welcoming. The attention to detail was evident, from the well-equipped kitchen to the comfortable beds and soft linens. As a group, we particularly enjoyed the living room, enclosed front porch, and the outdoor space with a fire pit, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Hong and Logan's hospitality shone through in every aspect of our stay. They were always available to answer any questions and even left us a delightful welcome basket, which was a thoughtful touch that made us feel right at home. We took our family camping in our VW Vanagon in Bar Harbor in 2007. It was our very first visit and it was love at first sight. In 2008, we purchased Blue Rose Cottage because we knew this would be a place we'd want to return to each year. We hope you feel the same way.
