A lovely, quiet, perfectly appointed place. Spotlessly clean and one of the most comfortable beds I have slept on in ages! Lisa is a communicative and accessible hostess. Morning coffee on the back patio was just lovely. We will definitely book again the next time we come to Nashville for an event.

Totally Terrific!!

Spotless; beds are comfy; lots of little details "Lisa" includes to make it feel warm, convenient, and homey. We stayed 3 days. If we were to return to Nashville in the future, we'd try to reserve this place once again. The property is located away from the city. After dealing with Nashville traffic congestion all day during the 3 days we were there, the little bit of country was a blessing! Thank you Lisa 5+++++

Quality time.

My wife and I had quality time with our grandson for 5 days at The Starlight Retreat. The location is perfect for hiking, caving, fishing, canoeing, history, and music. We visited the Hermitage and the Bell Witch Cave on this trip. There are plenty of good local restaurants, but the kitchen is very functional if you prefer to cook. The backyard is big and well-equipped. We enjoyed the firepit one night. The beds are very comfortable. Lisa is a gracious host and answered questions promptly. We would stay here again.

Country site to relax from city high life

Check in good Facility adequate. Kitchen small; would not plan to prep/serve meals. Big bed we used was fine. Bathroom kind of small with no stopper in tub. Solved problem with “new car odor” by unplugging air freshener by desk. All in all, adequate and comfortable for our visit to Nashville.

Thank you for your review. It helps others learn your perspective about the property, as well as how we can celebrate where we succeed and improve where necessary. The size of the kitchen has worked very well for guests in the past; whether it's a group of friends or families with children. It is an eat-in kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator, stove, microwave, Keurig (coffee supplied), double sink and two counter spaces. Also, thanks for making us aware the tub stopper was not there for your use. I will be sure it's replaced once our current guests check out tomorrow morning. I know parents with little ones especially appreciate the tub for bath time.

This property does not disappoint!

We have opted for vacation rentals instead of hotels when we travel for work in recent years. The home was very clean and super comfy. Our host had basic necessities on hand too so I was able to run a load of our laundry. We may have been slightly sad that the "extra" door didn't lead to a magical world. Lol! But seriously, we truly enjoyed being able to come "home" at the end of each very long day. Thanks!

We had our kids with us and as they were exploring the house they found board games. That was a fun bonus. Nashville was only 30 minutes away so we hung out there through the day and came back and relaxed with the kiddos playing said games in the evenings. 10/10 would recommend

Overall Perfect!

This was the best place for our group to stay for Music City truck show! The property owner is more than accommodating and one of the friendliest people we’ve ever rented off of… (We travel a lot to say the least) and she was quick to respond to any messages, super fast check in, and the propert was in great shape! 5 star rating!!
