The Roque gageac is in the heart of the valley of castles in Périgord Noir.
This village is one of the favorite villages of the French. It is nestled between the cliff and the Dordogne river. It benefits from a micro climate thanks to its south-facing exposure. It is the start of many visits nearby such as the castles of Castelnaud, the Milandes former residence of Josephine Baker and Beynac but also beautiful hiking and cycling, unless you prefer an old-fashioned canoe or gabarre ride.
From the terrace of the Périgord house, you will have a breathtaking view of the valley, opposite the castle of Castelnaud, the viewpoint of the castle and garden of Marqueyssac, of the village of La roque gageac and even as far as Domme.
The house has been completely restored to give it exceptional charm and comfort.
On the ground floor, you will find an equipped kitchen opening onto the panoramic terrace, an entrance, a bathroom with a toilet.
On the ground floor, you will stroll through the leather living room or in the interior swing, a pretty double bedroom 160 cm, another bathroom lit by a glass roof and a toilet.
Upstairs are two other attic rooms, one with a 140 cm bed and the other with two 90 cm beds.
You have the possibility to park your car in the lower part of the property and then access your rental by a stone staircase.
For free and unsupervised swimming, the house is in front of the sand beach of Les Pendouilles, a little further away the pebble beaches of Malartrie, the Cenac bridge and the Castelnaud bridge.
Weekly rental with the possibility of renting from 3 nights in April, May, June and September.
The house is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
