It is close to all town amenities, both Hernando and Inverness, and is a perfect mix of yesteryear and today. With an unbeatable location to lakes, springs, trails, and nearby historic towns, you and yours can have a memorable time staying on the grounds or day tripping to nearby attractions. Sip lemonade on the front porch as you watch native birds, butterflies, and dragonflies. Or grill out and have a picnic in the backyard while watching neighboring cows graze pastures.

Less than one mile from the Rail House, take a stroll or a bike ride to Lake Hernando Park where you can swim, launch your boat, or play on the playgrounds. If you seek nature trails, experience old-Florida along the 46-mile, paved Withlacoochee State Trail.

For the spring hoppers, you are about 25 minutes away from Crystal River where you can experience Hunter Springs, Three Sister’s Springs or King Spring. In the opposite direction, you are about 25 minutes from Rainbow Springs State Park and KP Hole depending on traffic. Pets considered, but require written approval, aggressive breads will not be considered. Pets will be charged per stay. Service animals do not require a fee, but Emotional Support animals will require this fee, if a Service animal is to be on the trip we will require to know what skill or task the service animal has been trained to perform.

Guest agrees to pay all costs and expenses, as determined in the sole judgment of the Property Manager, of repair or replacement for any and all damages of whatever origin or nature which may have occurred during the term of the stay.
