This property was absolutely amazing. The neighborhood was amazing and it was right next to a park, that my pup enjoyed. Shopping and restaurants were close by and easy to get to. Defiantly would book again for later trips.

Beautiful cottage

This cottage is much bigger than it looks in the pictures. Beautiful furniture and decor, very comfortable place to visit.

Fabulous cottage!!

The Blue Dog Cottage was absolutely amazing! Loved how it was decorated, how comfortable all the furniture and beds were, how convenient it was to walk to lots of restaurants and shops, and that it was equipped with everything we needed. I would highly recommend to anyone coming to the South Port area!!!

A week in Southport

Adorable house in the heart of Southport.Everything is in walking distance from the house.Very peaceful and quiet area and everyone is extremely friendly.We enjoyed our stay and our morning coffee on the porch.I highly recommend The Blue Dog cottage for your next stay in Southport.

The only thing was the TV in the living room cut in and out and the internet dropped out several times but the house was nice clean and nice to use a key to get in and out of the house. it was easy to take things into the house because you park so close to the front door.

Birthday Celebration

This property was absolutely AMAZING! The layout of the house was great! Kitchen was fully equipped! The back yard was adorable, unfortunately, it was so hot we couldn’t enjoy it. The patio would be perfect for cooler temperatures. This house has so much character! We just couldn’t believe all the little details! We would definitely choose this house again!

Great spot in downtown Southport

We had a great time at the Blue Dog Cottage. It was beautifully appointed, very clean, and very comfortable. The size is great along with the bedrooms and bathrooms, all wonderful accommodations. The only thing that was a problem was the bedrooms are very bright at night because there is a park right next to this property and lots of lights are on all night. While all the furnishings are beautiful, this house NEEDS room darkening blinds on all the bedroom windows. It was very hard for all of us to sleep with only sheer curtains on the windows. The location was great, nice to be close to the water and the ferry, and all the restaurants and shopping. We had a nice time exploring.

The house is great. The pictures are very accurate, great layout and flow. Only issue we had was the cleanliness wasn't as good as we expected. Nothing major, sand in the masterbed sheets and lots of sand in the dryer. Other than that it was great. Different coffee pot options, lots of kitchen tools, and very comfortable home.

Greatly decorated!

Greatly decorated! The vacuum was stinking and we could not use it. the broom was inadequate also. the cleaners have obviously not done the floors for a long time. there was nothing as far as cleaning supplies around so we had to purchase our own. the dresser in the second bedroon was falling off the wall. a big hazard to children!!! the backyard also was a mess. I understand we had a storm but they did no clean up what so ever.

Perfect Home

I have never complimented the interior of a home more in my life. I grew up in Southport and fell in love with this house over the weekend. My bridesmaids and I stayed there for my wedding weekend and we loved it. My now husband and I will definitely be back just to have a getaway from home at home. So spacious and beautiful. Delightful Escape

Walking into this cottage is like dropping into a magazine- it’s just beautiful and all Of the details so well designed. We loved South Port and look forward to returning!
