located in one of the highest crime areas of the city.
How do I know? Because the other tenants in this 3rd story walk up, the ones below us on the 2nd floor, became incredibly aggressive towards us after we knocked on the floor at 2am when they were having a loud party for the 2nd night in a row. We ended up calling the police after 1 of them kept trying to push into our unit & yelling & cussing thru the door, even after the officer was on site.
We filed a police report and reported the location to VRBO. You do not have to believe me, google crime in Philly near n10th & spring gardenI did this after we fled & the officer told us we had no business being in that neighborhood, it is one of the highest crime rates in the city & no place for tourists.
I've used vrbo across the globe. We used to have a condo we rented out using them. I've never had such an experience, ever. In or out of vrbo. I've never felt so unsafe somewhere that I have to flee at 3am because one of the downstairs tenants was so aggressive in the middle of the night it took two of us to push him out of the condo and lock the door. He continued banging on the door and cussing at us.
We got out and were fine, though still shaken. I'm not sure I'll ever use vrbo again since they have not helped us with a refund nor did they warn us of where we were staying before it was booked. Please research area first. Someones going to get hurt
