While we’re glad to know the staff member who contacted you was polite and apologetic, it’s clear the alternate accommodations fell short of your expectations and the quality you originally booked. Being moved to a smaller property that wasn’t a comparable replacement—especially for a group of six—can understandably be disappointing. The limited space, older appearance, and smaller refrigerator are not the kind of details that make for a comfortable family stay, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused during your trip. Unexpected maintenance issues like leaks sometimes do arise, and our team does its best to resolve them quickly while still providing accommodations. However, in situations like this, it’s important that guests feel their replacement lodging matches what they initially reserved. Your feedback will be shared with our team so we can improve how we handle these scenarios and ensure fair, comfortable alternatives are provided.
