Me and my family had an amazing stay at this Airbnb. The property is super unique, and has so many beautiful amenities! We felt very relaxed and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool is amazing and the coy pond was such a beautiful place to sit in nature. Maximilian was very helpful and accommodating, and the home was also close to all the activities we wanted to do in the Hamptons. Highly recommend :)

We had the pleasure of staying for the 6 nights, the property is close to many places town, beaches, shopping, wildlife conservatory, etc. The property is beautiful and one of the cleanest I've stayed in. They had everything we wanted for a week away from the city. Some of the amenities that we enjoyed were the outdoor space(wrap around porch, koi pond, deck in the backyard, pool gazeebo), the kitchen was stocked with a lot of supplies if you like cooking there was no shortage of spices, the 2 bedrooms are perfect for a family, washer, dryer and a nice size living space. The house allowed us to be comfortable. We can't thank Maximillian enough for the trip and 10/10 visit again."

THE SPACE
Home was designed and gardens grown for an authentic Japanese Zen experience!! Experience the two great secrets of Sag. Long Beach and BayStreet Theatre. Watch a Broadway level show for fraction of the price. Enjoy the European esque Long Beach just 2 min from house or 15 min walk. Beautiful decor traveled from the Far East fill this property. This is not a typical builder’s A-Frame Hampton house with catalogue furniture. Property feels like a quaint small village in Kyoto, Japan since there are two other structures, a Coi Pond, seasonal Pool, two walking Bridges, Asian-style wrap around deck on 2nd floor with overhang roof and a Gazeebo furnished for lounging and relaxing overlooking the pool. It is very charming, but not new. So please be kind with delicate decor items for your heightened experience. House is designed to enjoy the gardens regardless of season. It is for the person(s) or families who enjoy the outdoors and appreciate Japanese architecture. Property has a lot of character and grace notes to be discovered.

The main Pagoda House has 2 bedrooms/baths on the first floor. Stairs then lead upstairs to a open floor plan of living room, dining room, kitchen and wrap around deck and an open deck with outdoor dining tables and chairs for dining and sunbathing. Perfect for making family gathering memories! From the 2nd floor deck you can take the Japanese bridge and turn right to steps leading to the front of house. Or, go left, to these charming stepping stone path, down to the beautiful gardens. Enter Master bedroom, with in-suite-bathroom that opens to your own outdoor deck with seating views to the gardens and property. If children will be staying or visiting the property, a Waiver must be signed by the person booking the stay. Owners are a Dr/Writer and Artist/Musician, with young children, and they visit property monthly. Home is maintained by House/Property Manager. House is fully stocked with modern gadgets like kitchenware, linens. June- Aug , Paddle Board , Kayak, Beach Chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, fishing Poles, tackle box, Smart TV’s in all 3 structures. Some items that will remain for your use are: Legos, arts and crafts , board games, books, condiments/spices in kitchen. All spaces on this estate have Alexa for your news or music.

Our own children and those who visit, find it a “magical place.” Children fall in love with property and want to explore and go outside. But children eight and younger must be supervised by adult anywhere on this property.

Property is magical for children but lends itself for them to go discovering. So it can have potential to be be hazardous if children are left unattended.
Although our children entered this property at a young age, we always supervised them on the exterior grounds at all times. If you are staying for a short weekend or a week, area has many passages. It takes time to get acquainted. Below are some areas to be aware of. Please read the child safety list below before booking.

CHILD SAFETY
Main house
1. Master bedroom/2nd floor Living room have sliding glass doors that led to the whole property. Children ages 0-8 must have full adult supervision on the grounds at all times.
2. 2nd floor bridge has small incline. Use handrails. Young children must have adult supervision on bridge. No throwing water bombs from the bridge!!
3. Black futon on 2nd floor should be pushed away from stair railing to prevent any climbing and falling over stair railing.

Exterior
1. Driveway is steep. Be mindful of children’s hands and feet in opening car doors, they will close shut automatically on the passenger side due to incline. Take your time and tell kids to wait till you can help them get in and out of car. Our children didn’t listen the first time. We want to save you half a day icing the preventable.
2. Exterior steps at right side of Main Pagoda House, lead to the upper wrap around deck and also to the back of property with Japanese steppingstones. Steps slippery when wet or icy. No handrails on the concrete slab steps and steppingstones. Handrails on the bridge.
3. Left side of main house has a inclined dirt hill indicated. Be aware and point out to the children no ball playing there.
4. Gazebo is pirched over the pool area. Children’s ages 0 to 8 should not be left alone by the gazebo.
5. Pool area has two entrances (main and pond area) keep gates closed at all times. Please read the pool rules by the pool.
6. PoolHouse has stairs that lead up to an open second-floor loft. There is no child gate at stair entrance. Loft area has an open ledge. Dangerous for young children to be left alone. Keep pool house main entrance door closed at all times when children are staying or visiting.
7. Coi pond and bridge at pond have no fencing. No child 0 to 8 should be left alone by the pond. It is approximately 2.5 feet deep!!
8. Steppingstones throughout the property are slippery when wet. Please use caution.
9. Flipflops on wooden pool deck. Save yourself hours with tweezer and cranky child with splinter. We learned the hard way. Flip flops a Must.
10. Bring plenty of Sake. You will never want to leave the Geisha House :)) cheers, TanTan.
