Happy Island Holiday
The property has modern amenities. It was very clean. I am a solo traveler and felt safe during my entire stay. The area is very quiet at night. Ricard and spouse are very good hosts. They were available when needed Grocery stores are close by. I would recommend a rental car during your stay. Initially a little hard to find but worth it.

Wonderful Getaway Condo!
We were so happy with our stay! Ricard is fantastic and made us feel right at home! The location is perfect! We rented a car and could quickly and easily get everywhere we wanted! The condo is near Eagle Beach and Palm Beach. We personally loved Eagle Beach and went there most days. Golden Villas provided beach chairs, a cooler, and beach towels, which was so appreciated! We also liked how we could hang up our wet swimsuits on our personal clothesline on the back patio. Staying here, you are also close to Superfoods (a Dutch and American brand grocery store) where we loaded the fridge with delicious meats, cheese, veggies, and fruits for easy lunches. We also used Ricard’s restaurant reservations and loved them all - Barefoot, Wacky Wahoos, and Quinta del Carmen (this one was our favorite of the three and you could walk from the condo!). We would definitely stay here again!

Great little place
The Golden Villas is a really nice property in a good location. Short 5-6 minute drive to the strip on Palm Beach. The unit was very clean and well equipped. AC, shower, etc all worked well. The entire property seems to be fairly new construction. Pool area is very nice. Neighborhood is safe and quiet. The owner Ricard is on site and really exceptionally helpful...very nice guy. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location! Perfect Condo!
Could not have been more pleased with our stay at the Golden Villas!! Property is perfectly located In quiet area on mid/north west side near Palm Beach, Eagle Beach and downtown. Owner and his family were great with recommendations and keeping the property clean. Pool and whirlpool were perfect after a day out and about. Condo had all the supplies for a great start to your stay with many stores near by for the rest. We will be back!!!

Cozy little place with cute commons area and refreshing pool
The good: We were booked 2 days here prior to staying at a private home during our visit. Our plane was canceled by the airline and we didn't make it in time for the first night. Of course, we couldn't get a refund, but the owner was willing to change our dates, which was very nice of him (although didn't do us any good since we already booked another place). The apartment was clean and stocked with everything we needed. This included beach towels, chairs, and cooking supplies (although we never used them). The place is very secure and you have to have a code to get into the apartment area. Everything is tastefully decorated inside. Communication with the owner is great and answers quickly. The commons area and pool area is very cute and nicely decorated and clean. The privacy blinds on the apartment is an added plus because it also helps keep the hot sun from shining in. Great location and minutes away from everything. Iguanas roaming around and beautiful parrots in the trees. Connect with nature. The bad: When we checked in, we were told everything worked. We couldn't get the water/ice machine to work and there were ice trays in the freezer so I assumed that it actually didn't work. The air was not turned on and it was so hot in there that it took all the way up until late that night to cool down. So, we stayed by the pool and then left for dinner. I understand leaving the air off when no one is renting, but if you are expecting it to be rented and someone arriving, I would have thought they would have turned it on to be comfortable for new arrivals. I always shower prior to going to bed and late that night I turned the water on and nothing came out. We had no water. I had to go over and knock on the owners door (owner was out of town and had someone staying there) and they said there was a water boiler leak and they turned the water off and called maintenance to come the following day. She said it shouldn't have been on our side though. She woke up another lady (I believe the cleaning lady that lives on the premises) and she did something and turned it back on. Nice hot water but the shower head does not stay up and is so heavy it slumps over and hits the wall. I had to rig up something to make it work which made it hard to shower. All in all, we didn't stay here long, but liked the place, with a few minor issues, and the location was great and only minutes to the beach and activities and food in the area. Great place to rent.

A Great Adventure!
This was our first time in Aruba and it was a most enjoyable vacation! The Golden Villas Condos that Ricard designed and built are very clean and comfortable! The pool is the center point of the outside area and it was cleaned everyday. It was so serene to see the pool, beautiful plants, and palm trees swaying in the wind outside your condo each day and night. The kitchen is well stocked and we had breakfast each morning by the pool. At night after dinner we had tea by the pool to wined down from the active day. We had room service every other day and that was the first time for us, when renting a condo. The location has easy access to all hotels and beaches. We do recommend that you rent a car so you can explore this safe island! Each room has helpful tour guides, pamphlets, up to date restaurant guides to plan your vacation. Ricard had written his favorite restaurants as well and that was most helpful. We did make reservations to restaurants a few weeks ahead of time to ensure an early dinner around 6. All restaurants were outstanding that we visited! They were LePetit Cafe (lunch, Palm Plaza), Madame Janette, Flying Fishbone (see sunset and fish flying and swimming while you dine), Terrazza Italiana ( go for lunch or dinner to view the beautiful ocean and sunset), Quinta del Carmen (near condo), and Papiamento Rest. (you can walk from condo). Ricard told us to use DePalm Tours for our two excursions because they are safe and reasonable. We went on a 4.5 hour snorkeling trip and 4.5 UTV Off-road Safaris. The snorkeling trip we went in the AM for better viewing of the fish and visited 3 sights. Open bar and a delicious lunch were served. The UTV Off Road Tour was awesome. We visited the Natural Pool, Natural Bridge, Alto Vista Chapel, California Lighthouse, and Bushirbana Gold Mill Ruins. The windy, bumpy, ride over the rocky terrain was so much fun! Each trip was $99.00 per person and it was well worth it! Drive to see the Donkey Sanctuary and meet these friendly animals. The people on the island are sincere and helpful! We walked the neighborhood and made friends with the local dogs. The beaches that we visited were Arashi, Palm, and Mangel Halto Beach. Mangel Halto and Arashi Beach were very private and there were natural trees for shade. Aruba is serious about the improving environment! Water is purified from the ocean and they stopped using plastic bags and all recycling is done on the island. Great choice booking Golden Villas!

Clean, quiet and beautiful
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. Loved the pool area and that it was just outside of our living room. Super clean. As others have mentioned, every other day it is cleaned and new towels given. I have never had that at any rental before. I really liked that the owner is right on site as well. He is so helpful and very nice. Quite frankly, everyone is very nice on this Happy Island! I am a light sleeper, and this place was perfect for me. I appreciated that the blinds completely blocked out the light in the rooms. We did rent a car, and I would recommend that you do as this is not within walking distance of the beaches and attractions, but is within a couple minute drive. We also liked the locked access to the rentals in addition to the keyed entry into our place. Plus there is a small safe in the rental for you to use. They kept up with the vacuuming and skimming of the pool. I was delightfully surprised with the additional lighting around the complex at nighttime. We had such a wonderful, relaxing, stress free time here. I highly recommend it!!

An excellent alternative to the high rise area.
Ricard and his family have thought of everything that made our stay very memorable. The condo itself is pristine and has everything needed to be able to do some breakfasts and lunches and even suppers if you don't want to venture out to restaurants. The units surround a lovely pool and deck area that has ample shade or sun, depending on what you like, plenty of chaises and chairs so there is no having to rush out to claim territory as in the large hotels. Golden Villas is located near some of the best restaurants...Madame Jeanettes, Quinta DelCarmen and only minutes from the high rise hotel area. Our condo was cleaned every other day and new towels supplied at each cleaning. The guests mingle outside after the day's activities making it an easy social environment without commitment. To get to the beaches or casinos or shopping, a car is recommended and driving is easy on this island once you are used to the roundabouts. In short, Golden Villas provided a perfect place to enjoy a perfect island!

This is a beautiful place to stay very nice accommodations, beautiful courtyard, pool and cabana. It has full-service kitchen, Wi-Fi, television and it is so clean and quiet. when we come to Aruba again we will stay here for sure. The owners are on premise and are very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful, quiet, relaxing, immaculately clean, friendly, a GEM
I found this when a trading into a timeshare was not available. So happy that we did! I don’t believe you could find any better apartment for the price, Great Bargin, It is a small complex of 8 - 1 bedroom apartments. We had a very comfy king bed with luxurious sheets. A/C worked well, hot water plentiful with a rain shower head plus a hand held. Towels were changed every other day. They were thick and large. Beach chairs and cooler available in every unit. The pool was wonderful. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, all the essentials. An outdoor gas grill is available in the common courtyard area, it is very clean, which we used several times. Our only complaint, the TV stations are mostly in Spanish with NO USA major network, ie, NBC, ABC, CBS, Fox, ESPN, there was an English CNN but don’t believe it was broadcast from USA. There are 100’s of stations you can scan through but many are not available to you. It would be nice to have the owners make a list of the stations available on the TV’s in their apartments. Indicate whether Spanish or English. We watched many English speaking TV shows with Spanish commercials. That was interesting. The owner Ricard is very personable and strives to please. He mentioned before we left that he was looking into his provider, Diirect TV-from South America to the possibility of adding more US major network stations. I hope this will include the networks I mentioned above. We were there during NFL Playoffs and hubby was very upset the games were not available to us in our vacation apartment. He doesn’t like to watch at sports bars. Thank you, Santa for your daily hard work keeping the property and units sparkling! You are certainly an asset to Golden Villas!

Perfection
This was our third trip to beautiful Aruba. Normally we would aim for a beachfront rental and no car rental. We stepped off the beaten path and found a “jewel”! These condo’s are beautiful, clean and centrally located. Very quiet at night. The owner, Ricard, is very friendly and helpful with anything Aruba. He encouraged us to rent a car, took us to the car rental place, provided a local map and a list of amazing restaurants. We saw parts of Aruba we didn’t even know existed. This was our best trip to date. Would definitely recommend these condos and plan to return ASAP.

Exceeded our expectations! Upon arrival we were greeted by Ricard and shown our apartment.
Everything was explained clearly. The apartment was exceptionally clean, and a lot of thought in design. Everything on the property well maintained. Cleaning person every two days including clean sheets and towels. We have done many rentals and this level of cleanliness was a first for us. Quiet at night and enjoyed the little back deck in the evening with the lovely trade winds. Highly recommend renting a small car as driving is easy and you have access to the entire island with much to see and do! Loved it so much we are coming back.

Clean modern friendly stay
We enjoyed our stay for a week at Golden Villas. The property was clean modern one bedroom apartment. The grounds were always clean and quiet location. The only "complaint we had was with the Wifi- it would disconnect us quite a bit. Other than that the location was perfect. We definitely recommend this location and will be returning when we come back to Aruba!

Great Aruba Getaway

Top Notch!
Ricard and Isabel made our stay most enjoyable by attending to all our needs, whether it was just answering questions, to actually taking care of our car rental, and making sure that we were comfortable in our unit! The modern unit was very clean and Santa was there making sure it stayed that way! If you don't like the crowds and the big hotels/resorts, this is definately the place to stay. The beaches are very close, and getting around was really easy! We would definately highly recommend staying here!! Thanks Ricard and Bel for allowing us to vacation at your beautiful place in Aruba!!!!!! We hope to see you again sometime!!!!

Wonderful, very clean place in a quiet area
We just came back from staying at this property for 6 nights and we were extremely pleased with the place. It was located in a quiet location close to supermarkets and beaches. We rented a vehicle the entire time there but you could easily walk to the grocery store (10 mins) or eagle beach (30 mins). Ricard and his family are fantastic....available at any time if needed as they stay on the property. The place was very clean, nicely decorated and included everything you would need. (Towels, cooler, beach chairs, beach towels). What I was extremely impressed by was the fact that every 2 days the place was cleaned and you were provided with fresh, clean towels and beach towels and even bed linens! We have never experienced this when renting a villa or condo....the cleaning was completed after our departure. I would highly recommend Golden Villas Aruba! You would not be disappointed .

great holiday
I enjoyed my stay. It was exactly as pictured. The place was very clean and modern. The shower was great. The pool was clean and was a nice temperature. The kitchen had all the amenities that I needed. The location was close to grocery stores and various beaches. The owners were attentive and able to answer all our questions. I enjoyed the stay.
