Aunt Wes, as we like to call her, has been our family home for over 14 years. She's a happy home. She's our first home, the home we raised our children in, and the home we will return to. We worked tirelessly to add on, update and build a home everyone would feel welcome in. We have spent many nights enjoying a drink on the front porch, lighting a fire in the fireplace, soaking in the claw foot tub, or story telling around the kitchen table. We love to relax in the backyard while the kids play in the treehouse and watch the fish swim. My beloved Aunt and Uncle lived on the street in the 70's, so the location is personal for us. Signs of them are everywhere in the house. Peacock feathers and antlers are small influences of their eccentric taste. As we move through this process of sharing our home, we will showcase his artwork throughout the house, I am sure it will be an ever changing design!
We offer keyless entry, with your own personal code, for check in. We have a Ring doorbell with cameras for the front yard, the driveway, and the backyard. Camera(s) may be deactivated during your stay. An Alexa device, located in the kitchen, is available for use while in the home but may be unplugged if not wanted.
A House Manual will be shared with many more details after booking is confirmed and within a few days of your expected arrival. We do not live far from the property and are able to help, if service is needed. I was born and raised in San Antonio, so please do not hesitate to ask for suggestions. We are within walking distance from many great attractions!
