Bij het inchecken dien je mogelijk een erkend identiteitsbewijs met foto en een creditcard, pinpas of borgsom in contanten te verstrekken voor incidentele kosten.

Hi there! I'm Alistair ( or Ali to the locals) . I was born in England but I am Australian. I'm an an Electrical Engineer , Project Manager, Professional sailor, English teacher and for the last 5 years a property builder/owner/manager. In 2005, after working in Australia as an engineer , dealing with the transport and service industries and the Sydney Olympic Games , I decided to leave my highly-paid corporate job to train as a professional sailor. After 5 Atlantic Crossings and crewing and racing on sailing yachts up to180ft long for 7 years, I left that industry to travel for a while. After several years and 30 countries later trying to find myself , I arrived in Thailand and taught English to amazing students and later travelled to Medellin, Colombia. During a year of learning Spanish and salsa dancing, I met an old sailing friend who was going to buy land in a town called Tulum, Mexico. i tagged along... Even though I hadn't heard of the area ,I decided to invest in a plot of land in a jungle area called La Veleta, Tulum . And then the fun began... My friends laugh at my attempt are amazed at the achievement. As an understatement, it's not easy to design and build a property ( in wood!) as a foreigner, by yourself , in Mexico. I took months to find company that provided sustainable wood products to build .... But here we are and I'm proud of what I have achieved.

Why this property? Well , It's all wood. As a child I've loved wood and stone. Wood has a cooling, calming resonance and you won't find another complex like ours in Tulum. Other than that, after travelling the world in accommodations from dirt huts to five-star hotels, in over 45 countries, I've added all the great ideas into one property and listened to every guest comment. From installing international electrical sockets including in the lock boxes , to mirrors and hooks everywhere, fast reliable internet, friendly staff, and ensuring it is immaculately clean, we have made this property the unique gem that it is today.
