Come stay for sunset hour and enjoy dramatic views from the comfort of the living room, kitchen, or outdoor patio. This private community lake is great for swimming, fishing, kayaking, bird watching and ice skating in the winters. Great accomodation for a family getaway, relaxing weekend, or a place to work remotely with a view, this cottage is the perfect setting. Our area is at the base of the picturesque Litchfield hills and is close to many wineries, outdoor activities, and scenic views. The property is equipped with kayaks, shuffleboard, fast WiFi, deskspace, Smart TVs, and a fully stocked kitchen. Pet Friendly. We look forward to hosting you for your getaway!

Very Lovely
This is a really lovely and clean home. The owners were very responsive and clearly take great care with the property and rental process. It was very comfortable for me, my mother and my four year old daughter. The lake view is gorgeous and peaceful, however be advised that CT lakes can sometimes get high bacteria levels so it was not swim friendly when we were there

House is always cleaned and stocked. Beautiful views and we love the privacy of the back yard for our two pups. Owners are responsive. Third time staying in one of their properties. Consistently a good time.

Cost cute and just right
We were in area from Uk visiting friends who live not far away. So this little home was just ideal for us. Weather improved on the day we left so we didnt sit outside by the lake but we did enjoy watching the birds and fish.

Wonderful lakefront oasis with great hospitality
We had such a relaxing, wonderful stay at this lakefront oasis. The lake views from the upstairs living room & the downstairs kitchen and yard were lovely. The number of song birds was delightful to watch and hear. We counted 31 birds in <1 hour! We also saw turtles, fish, and a Bald Eagle.

Bird Watcher’s Paradise
What an impressive property! Incredible location, clean, tidy and filled with thoughtful amenities to make our stay comfortable and fantastic! My sister and I have met here 3 years in a row. The house, lakeside location and local parks make it the perfect place to reconnect and do birding. Last year, a Bald Eagle was perched in a pine tree just a few houses away. This year, many species including a local Pileated Woodpecker welcomed the beauty of Spring. We love it here! The owners are very approachable and responsive. There has never been a delay in communication or accommodating our needs.

Amazing Stay at the Cozy Oasis!
We had an amazing stay at the Cozy Oasis! The house was immaculate, equipped with everything you could possibly need, and very comfortable. We had a great time fishing and kayaking in the lake. The backyard was designed with hanging out in mind- equipped with comfortable outdoor couches, a shaded patio, a fire pit, and a new dock on the lake. The house is also close to stores. Cristina and Vlad were incredibly helpful and gracious hosts. We hope to stay here again!

Beautiful lakehouse getaway
This is the second home we have rented from these owners. The properties never disappoint. Well appointed, clean, and beautifully decorated. The owners went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay and everything we needed. Vlad and his wife are generous and very responsive. Our two kids and pups had a wonderful stay.

Family trip to kick start the summer!
This place was perfect for our family of five and our doggo! We loved the lake and taking out the kayaks, enjoyed watching movies together in the cozy living room, sat out each night by the firepit, and had everything we needed in the well appointed kitchen to make our meals. Birdwatcher’s Dream
Easy to rent and communicate with Vlad, the owner. The house is immaculate and stocked with everything we needed for a 4 day stay. View of the lake from upstairs and the backyard are magnificent! We spotted over 38 species of birds including bald eagles and great blue herons. What a thrill. Highly recommend. This is our 2nd year and we will be back in 2024.

AMAZING Oasis!!!
If you are looking at this property but haven't booked it yet, you should do it RIGHT NOW!!! My husband and I stayed here with our 11 yo daughter and our 2 doggies as our daughter had a soccer tournament nearby and we had a blast!!! My daughter woke up at 6:30am every morning and went fishing from the dock in her PJ. She also had a splendid time going on the kayak with her father and fishing a 15 inch large mouth bass. The house is very clean, equipped with everything we needed, and the view of the lake from the living room is just beyond. I woke up one morning with the lake covered in the morning mist and it looked just like a fairytale. The hosts were always very responsive & welcoming. I highly recommend this house to whoever wants a nice relaxing vacation by the lake!!!

Gorgeous
We had an amazing two nights at this lake front home. The house has beautiful high vaulted ceilings in the living room that makes you not want to leave except to go out to the gorgeous lake. Everything is new, the windows are large and offer expansive views of the lake. Everything is updated. It was a pleasure to stay here, we only wish we had booked more nights. The owners were wonderful with communication and their hospitality was greatly appreciated.

Cozy Oasis is truly cozy!
We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend visiting friends and family in CT. We are native to NE and have never been to Plymouth lake. It’s a quiet lake and there are no motor boats. They mandate quiet hours which is awesome when traveling with a baby. The house was cute and well taken care of. The property managers ere very responsive and take pride in their property. They even set up a pack and play for us before we checked in. That was so helpful getting in late. And we didn’t have to bring ours through the airport. The kitchen was well stocked and there is a gas range to cook 😍 Overall we loved our stay and would recommend this getaway to anyone looking for a quiet lake house experience.

Perfect getaway
This home was perfect and had everything we could want for our family mini vacation. It felt like home the minute we walked in. The views are gorgeous through the large windows. It was so nice to be able to go out to the backyard and jump into a kayak, a rowboat, or just go float around. We boated over to the beach area a few times for a swim. Great sunsets and even better family time.

"cozy oasis" really is cozy and an oasis
Dogs and we loved the lakefront. The yard is not completely fenced in; would have been more relaxing for us had it been and safer for our furry friends. Well stocked and supplied, immaculate for cleanliness, new furnishings and very comfortable bed in 2nd floor bedroom (didn't use first floor bedroom so cannot accurately comment on bed comfort).

My wife and I are so excited to share this property with you. We get so much joy enjoying this property and staying here every chance we can get, whether to just enjoy the outdoors, and the lake-side living or just working from home with the captivating views.

This home means a lot to us. We purchased this home as an escape from our everyday lives of living in the city. We come up every chance we can get, however whenever we are not there - we want others to experience the lake-life. There's nothing like waking up to a foggy lake full of wildlife and birds in the morning, and watching it evolve through the day to cap off with a dramatic sunset that we enjoy by the fire.

Our home has an incredible amount of wildlife including tons of birds. If you're lucky enough to see them, we have Eagles that live directly on the lake. We wake up every morning with breathtaking views of the lake and wind down to dramatic sun-set views by the propane firepit. We often find ourselves glued to our large windows, just taking in the outdoors from inside. This home has some magic to it that eases the soul.
