Welkom bij Playa Negra Vacation Rentals, Jarrod en Meaghan, waar we ons best doen om een heerlijk verblijf in Playa Negra te garanderen.

Gewoon geweldig! Dit nieuw gebouwde huis met drie verdiepingen biedt vanuit elke kamer een aantal van de beste uitzichten in Playa Negra. Aan alle fijne details is gedacht in dit luxe huis.

Alle drie niveaus hebben een patio met een adembenemend uitzicht op de Stille Oceaan. Dit huis beschikt ook over centrale airconditioning doorheen.

De buitenkant van het eerste verhaal heeft een prachtig overloopzwembad met groot dek dat een perfecte setting is voor een zonsondergangzwem. Een buitendouche en bad completeren deze resortachtige omgeving.

Het interieur van de eerste verdieping heeft een woonkamer met half bad en een stapelbed kamer met een ligbad.

Ga de houten en ijzeren trap op, met extra grote kroonluchter, naar de tweede verdieping met de belangrijkste woonkamer en een half bad. Het eetgedeelte is omgeven door ramen die uitkijken op de patio en de oceaan.

De keuken spaart geen kosten om aan uw behoeften te voldoen. Gaskookplaat, muuroven, magnetron, koelkast naast elkaar, vaatwasser, aparte ijsmaker, plus een extra koelkast maken deze keuken goed ingericht voor elke groottegroep. Aangepaste kasten, granieten aanrecht, tegel backsplash en een extra groot eiland vervolledigen deze fantastische keuken. Het tweede niveau heeft ook een slaapkamer met uitzicht op de bergen met ligbad met een tegelbad.

De derde verdieping beschikt over 3 slaapkamers en 3 volledige privébaden. Twee van de slaapkamers komen uit op een patio op de volledige verdieping met een prachtig uitzicht op de oceaan. De derde slaapkamer heeft uitzicht op de bergen met een eigen bad. Fijne details, comfort en schoonheid zijn er in overvloed in dit unieke vakantiehuis aan zee.

Zodra je koffer de vloer raakt, hoef je nooit meer weg te gaan en wil je misschien nooit meer.

Paradise in Playa Negra

We had an amazing week long stay at Casa Dewey! The property itself was perfect; clean, well appointed and very comfortable. Tons of space for the 11 total people we had traveling. The pool was magnificent and the beach was just a short stroll down the path. Views for days!! Property manager very responsive and easy to communicate with. Playa Negra itself is a cute little town with several wonderful little restaurants. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend Casa Dewey!!

Truly a peaceful special home, nestled in on a bluff and listening to waves 24 hours a day. We had a very special and restorative time. The home is perfectly situated, close to delicious restaurants within a super friendly community, perfect coffee/ cafe 1 minute away and all I was perfect for us. This property did not disappoint in anyway. Beautiful house on a great beach. Pool is amazing and was a great spot to watch the sunset every evening. Property managers were very responsive and helpful as well! Highly recommend!

Beautiful home on Playa Negra

Casa Dewey Pacifica is a beautifully maintained home in a lesser crowded area of Costa Rica. The home itself six just north of the play a Negra hotel. The beach directly in front of the house is rocky but you can walk about 100 yards towards the hotel to find a nice sandy spot. The way to get here is on some bumpy gravel roads but once here you can’t find just about whatever you need at the small markets. The surrounding restaurants are good. Casa Deveena is the best. It is truly gourmet. Jarrod is the property manager and he is very available Any issue we had he took care of quite readily. He is able to make some suggestions that were also quite helpful. Be sure and have WhatsApp. It makes it quite easy to communicate. Overall, our stake could not have been nicer.

Our family of 10 adults visited Playa Negra for a second visit and this home and area did not disappoint. It was again a most pleasant relaxing vacation for all. Excellent Vacation

We had an amazing time staying at Casa Dewey! The house and it's location couldn't have been better. We can't wait to make another trip back. Two families with 4 adults and 4 kids had more than enough room. Playa Negra is also a lovely community. It's small, but has a surprising amount of good restaurants and is easy to navigate. Jarrod and Meaghan were excellent hosts and made things easy for us.

Beautiful House in a Beautiful Setting

The house is just as beautiful as the pictures with 4 large bedrooms and an extra large bedroom on the bottom floor. All have their own full baths. There are 2 dens. A stocked kitchen with indoor and outdoor seating. There are also tons of books, games and movies. The infinity pool is wonderful. It gets deep quickly so it's for good swimmers. Outdoor shower and foot-washing station. An outdoor bathroom making the total actually 8. The path to the beach is short with lots of sand, rock and tide pools to investigate. The property managers were also very responsive suggesting zip lining, snorkeling and fishing tours. I highly recommend.

Really Gorgeous Home!

This house is so lovely! What a wonderful find, the house is maintained, furnished and decorated really beautifully, everything custom and high end. The huge kitchen is the most well equipped I have ever found in a vacation rental. The view is spectacular, the beach and pool perfect for family fun. Our family of 12 included 6 children, and everyone was so happy. A really nice feature is that every bedroom had a luxurious en suite bathroom. There was even an outside bathroom for the pool area. We would absolutely stay at this house again, could not find a nicer one. The manager, Jarrod, was extremely nice to work with, very responsive and pleasant. Last year we rented the spectacular house next door, but we all enjoyed this one even more. The air conditioning worked really well, and in that hot humid climate it's a real bonus. You will not be disappointed in this vacation home!

Surfers paradise with fun for everyone! Great views, beach and house.

4 adults, 4 young teens and a young grandma - house was perfect. Meaghan and Jarrod are there to help with everything. Alexandria was our breakfast / lunch cook, can’t reccomend her enough. We surfed, boarded, swam, zipped, went after Sails with Captain Lee, took the boat tour and did a lot of eating. Went to Deevena’s twice that’s how good it is!! Dean and Patrick treated us so well. Got to hit Lola’s on the beach for lunch. La Ventura catered in an awesome meal! Javier for surfing was perfect and very flexible. Jalapeños for tacos is a must do as well. Auto Mercado in Tamarindo is the place for groceries. Be prepared for a rough 30 minute drive to get into Tamarindo. The house is really perfect for a large group. Pool and view are incredible. Come here for the Ocean and everything else will delight!! Beach is right out back. About 200 yards for perfect sand. Do rent a bigger vehicle, the roads are drivable, but a sedan isn’t going to get you around. Do use Meaghan and Jarrod, they take care of everything and make your stay perfection!

Amazing Villa!

We stayed here with a group of 14 (8 adults and 6 kids) and it was fantastic. The house is beautiful and was perfect for our group. Each couple had there own bedroom with en-suite and the kids all shared the downstairs room with bunk beds. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and Jarrod and Meaghan answered any questions we had throughout the week. The sunset views from the pool were a highlight every day. Lots of room outside to sit in the sun or in the shade when it got too hot. Coffee on the balconies in the morning was also fantastic. The beach is right there and was very quiet, we had a surfing lesson and also rented boogie boards for the week. We were already talking about coming back. Jarrod and Meaghan organized in house catering which was great, plus a chef to cook us an amazing meal one night. It will be a vacation none of us will easily forget. Thanks for everything, hope to come back soon.

the property was perfect for our group and fit the online description. Casa Dewey is set directly on the ocean and somewhat off the beaten path so a rental car will enhance your stay. Amazing property and great location!

We were a group of 10 adults traveling from 4 points of origin in the US to spend the holidays together in beautiful Costa Rica. Casa Dewey was a fantastic property with beautiful views, located in a quiet coastal village, yet close enough to Tamarido for shopping/dining. The home is well appointed with nice linens, towels and everything you would need in a kitchen. We enjoyed meals on the balcony, time by the pool and on the beach. Meaghan even provided a beautiful driftwood Christmas Tree for our celebration. We wanted a couple of dinners catered and Meaghan suggested several good choices. We opted for Pura Vida Catering and they nailed it! The spiny lobster was amazing! The house is well maintained and the few small issues we experienced were quickly resolved. The house accommodated our large group while still allowing us our separate spaces and privacy as needed. We have rented numerous HomeWay/VRBO properties in the US and foreign countries and Casa Dewey is our favorite! Thank you Meaghan and Jarrod! Stephanie & Wayne from California

Spectacular!

We brought our whole family (grandparents to the littelest who is 6 years old). The stay was unbelievable. House was more impressive in person and the view was simply breath taking every day! If you are looking to escape this place is your answer. It is a cool surfer community, very laid back and beaches are stunning. Meaghan and Jarrod were the best hosts ever and helped us with every adventure the entire week. We used them to book zip lining, massages, fishing trips and catering. All were top notch. My suggestion to anyone is to make sure you find the right grocery store for shopping (automercado) because they are not all equal :(. Also we found that the car rentals from the airport had more options for 4 wheel drive which is highly recommended for this area. Costa Rica has left a lasting impression on us all.

Perfection

We stayed at Casa Dewey Pacifica with three other couples in March, 2017. The house was perfect - there was plenty of space for all of us, great kitchen, lovely pool and an amazing beach. The beds were comfortable, there were beach towels provided and plenty of outdoor seating. Our communications with Jarrod and Meaghan were excellent right from the time of booking - they responded quickly to any questions, gave great advice on shopping and restaurants and responded immediately to any questions we had when we were there. There is a great beach bar within walking distance and quite a few good restaurants nearby. There is a great grocery store in Playa Negra that we didn't find until later in the week - we drove by it a few times but it looked like it was closed but once you go in, you realize they have almost everything you need and it is very close by. In addition to the beach bar at Hotel Playa Negra, check out Lola's and the pizza place in Playa Negra. We also had two meals catered at the house which was very nice as well. Definitely a 5 star vacation.

Beach Front Paradise

Casa Dewey was paradise! We stayed with a group of four couples and this house met all our needs! We enjoyed having large rooms with our own bathrooms while having several different group meeting places that we could play games and share meals together. Relax inside in the cool air or outside on the patio with the heat and refreshing pool, you pick! House comes with all the necessities to make you feel at home and welcome, even entertaining a nice sized library. Stunning views of the ocean and sunset. Absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. We also enjoyed having coffee on the stone bench overlooking the ocean! I did my morning yoga there as well. House and grounds are kept and cleaned during your stay. We stayed during the dry season so no monkeys, but did have beautiful birds that joined us as we laid by the pool. Located in a quiet surfing town with absolutely fantastic restaurants. Everywhere we ate we had good food! Great hosts that made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. Casa Dewey was the perfect place to balance both relaxation and adventure. Wish we could have stayed another week!

The Pictures Don't do the House Justice!

A group of 10 of us stayed at Castillo del Mar for a week. Not one of us had a negative thing to say. The entire house, set up, and views were unbelievable. This was truly one of the best trips we have been on. Jarrod and Meaghan were so helpful throughout the process and never hesitated answering any question (trust me, I asked a lot) that I had. If you are driving from the airport, it is not the easiest to find, but once you get there, it is worth the journey! The house was clean and all ready for us upon our arrival. The kitchen has been renovated (pictures on the website need updating). Nothing beats the sunset from the top floor terrace, and star gazing up there was a whole new level, stunning. You will not be disappointed with the house!

Loved our Home Away from Home!

From the moment we set foot in the house, it felt like home. We were 4 couples staying at Casa Dewey Pacifica for 2 weeks and we fell in love right away. The house was perfect! Very clean, beautifully decorated, huge kitchen, big balconies, great pool and outdoor area, with spacious rooms and bathrooms. Also very well situated with gorgeous views of the ocean, steps away from the beach and walking distance to a couple restaurants. Anything we needed, Jarrod and Meaghan, the property managers were available for us. They also put us in contact with Michelle Ledbetter for meals and TPV Costa Rica for personalized tours which we strongly recommend –especially if you don't want to rent a car. We are anxious to return to Costa Rica and to Casa Dewey Pacifica.

Simply Perfect!

Can't wait to book another trip to the beautiful Casa Dewey! We traveled with 4 other couples and there was plenty of space. The huge kitchen island was a great meeting spot for breakfast, dinner, and cocktails. The proximity to the beach was so nice. All of our contacts were helpful and helped to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.

The perfect getaway --- HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Jarrod and Meaghan were such incredibly hosts. The photos and videos online of the place don't do it justice. The space is beautifully done and spacious. We had a large group so wanted enough room for everyone to enjoy their space, but also with common areas to eat meals and hang out. The place is right on the beach and there is a hotel restaurant and bar within 5 minutes walking if you want to grab a drink or rent surfboards. Meaghan and Jarrod also set us up with a van service to pick us up from the airport and drop off. They also gave GREAT recommendations for a chef to cook us dinner and a group surf lesson. The house is fully equipped with anything you need in the kitchen and Meaghan and Jarrod did a grocery run that really made the trip SO easy. We got to the house and everything we asked for was there. You could tell they really made the extra effort to find everything. I can't recommend this place enough, it was the perfect getaway and such a beautiful home.
