We enjoyed our stay at the vacation house overall. The location was very convenient to the shops and the beach, which made everything easy and enjoyable. We also loved having access to the golf cart it was a great added bonus. One of our favorite parts was eating breakfast on the screened-in porch while watching the turtles. The only downside was the stained bed sheets. They should really be replaced because no one wants to sleep on stained sheets while on vacation. Other than that, we had a nice stay.

Thank you for your review. We are so happy you loved this amazing home. We wash and bleach our sheets in our commercial laundry facility after every stay. If there was an issue with the sheets we wish you would have brought it to our attention or even mentioned it to us during your stay so we could confirm and remedy the issue.

Family Trip June 2025

The house is beautiful and we loved the location at the end of the cul-de-sac. The view of the lake and golf course is so much better in person! We sat on the porch and drank our coffee and watched the golfers in the morning. The beds were super comfortable! We would definitely stay there again! Highly recommend.

Great for Relaxing and Recharging with the Family!

We enjoyed our stay at this property so much! The back screened porch was so nice to watch the birds and wildlife on the water. Easy golf cart ride to coffee, shopping and grocery store. Neighborhood pool was heated and so fun on days we couldn’t make it to the beach. We had such a great time here!

Fantastic !

The Home and property far exceeded our expectations. The photos and description are nice but do not convey how really nice the home is; the private location; and the beautiful view of the lake and golf course. The home was well maintained and extremely clean. The property management team were easy to contact and very responsive.

Business in Paradise

Had a wonderful time at Sandestin and loved the house. Everything was immaculate and the location is perfect! Two carts made getting around so simple and fun. From dining and the beach, to the golf courses and boardwalk, everything is right there. No need to get in the car and go anywhere. Except maybe to visit Seaside! Hope we get the chance to plan another stay in the future. Thank you!!

Serene getaway

This was our fourth spring break stay in SanDestin and our second time staying in the Laurel Grove area. This home was just beautiful and our favorite by far! We spent a good amount of time grilling and relaxing on the front porch watching the sunset and spent every morning on the back screen porch with our coffee watching players tee off on the 3rd hole of Raven. We had a minor issue with the sink the first day of our arrival and the property managers were there immediately to fix it. Very, very comfortable home, wonderful golf carts (we rented the extra for our teen drivers) and beautiful views. We will be back!

Stay far away from Have Travel Memories rentals!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home was great but Have Travel Memories but, still trying to charge $1209 for an old golf cart windshield that was broken before we got there. So many other good rentals than dealing with the rental company.

For the safety of our guests and to protect our owners we have every guest walk around and sign off on ie: check for any dents, scratches, or visible damage to the golf cart before they are given the keys. During your stay there was damage to not only the windscreen but also damage to the back footrest. The quote we received from the golf cart companies to repair both was over $1900. In the end we charged you less than $600. We did everything we could to make your stay as wonderful as possible even to the point of moving you to another property. We wish you all the best in your future rentals.

Great Destin house for our vacation!

Loved the house, the location, the golf carts. Dave from Have Travel Memories was wonderful and quick to respond to a slight issue that needed fixing upon our arrival. Loved the fact that there was extra trash bags, paper towels, Kleenex tissues, some spices, lots of towels. The last place we stayed in Destin was so stingy on all of these items that we will use Have Travel Memories from now on. The only item I wishe was different is that we could have used the garage. The other house around us allowed the guests to use the garage and it would have been very helpful for us to have access to the garage. After taking the golf carts out of the garage it was empty except for a few floats, and access to the garage would have made the place greater than perfect! But overall, would stay there again. The screened porch was so comfortable and the golf course view fun to watch from there. Loved the place!

We loved this home! It’s everything you hope for in a rental. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. Fridge stayed cold (no defrost wait time.) Beds were comfortable. Screened back porch helped keep mosquitoes away. We really enjoyed the grill area in the evenings. Trees offer plenty of shade to enjoy being outdoors. We hope to book again soon!!
