Such a great location

This place is so amazing! Walking distance to the lake for paddle boarding, swimming and playgrounds. Right on the bike path too. We absolutely loved our stay here and would certainly stay again.

Place fine-VACASA not.

We have rented dozens of places in the Vail /Beaver Creek area. This unit is fine for a couple, okay for 3 and a tight squeeze for 4. It lists a queen, futon and a twin bed. The twin is more like a cot, which was comfortable for our 18 year old, average size daughter. It is not shown in the pictures and probably because it would show as a cot and not a twin. It was located in the bedroom behind the door where it fit fine. We moved it to the living room and it fit fine there too. But, couches were not that accessible, which was fine for us. The futon is in the living room and is fine for sleeping and functions as a couch. here is an older blue armchair at the kitchen table, we didn't need it and thankfully because there were two small nails sticking up that could have punctured an arm. It is also past its prime and a new regular size kitchen chair would be more functional. I had seen elsewhere that Vacasa customer service lacked. This was our experience as well. We arrived after 10:00pm and found some body hairs (Yuck) on the blanket for one of the beds and the sheets had some hairs. I called and asked for fresh sheets and a call back from the local manager. Customer service said no problem. When nothing happened in 40 minutes, I called again and was told that no one was on call and could I wash the items myself. Yes, and I in turn asked for a refund on the cleaning fee. Done! he cleaning was fine, not great. Shower shelves were visually dirty. The rest of the place was fine, I stopped looking closely. Sheets were newer, towels were too. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking etc and appliances and carpet were newer. The screen door fell off the track when we tried to open the patio door and the frame hit my daughter in the head. I called again and no return call. Location to Bear Lot at Beaver Creek is less than a mile so that was amazing. I wouldn't stay here again because I expect at least good (not even great) customer service and Vacasa isn't that. Sorry home owner, you may want to switch agencies.
