With convenient access to the beach, this ocean-side home, with warm wood accents and high living room ceiling, a classic beach box with slight modern upgrades will provide perfectly sized accommodations for a small family vacation.

After a fun-filled day at the beach, rest your head on one of the two queen beds or two single beds in the three available bedrooms. All bedrooms have their own smart TVs and ceiling fans. Enjoy family time in the main living area with a large smart TV and BT stereo....that is if you can tear yourself away from the ocean!

Piece of Serenity offers a furnished sundeck and a covered porch with a hammock swing, perfect for sitting outside and enjoying some of those wonderful Outer Banks sunrises and sunsets, listening to the roar of the ocean and watching the sweeping gleam of light from the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. Protected under house parking with outdoor shower to rinse all of the salt and sand from your day at the beach. Fish cleaning station to clean todays catch and a large gas grill for cooking it up or for another cooking option.

Piece of Serenity is situated in close proximity to the lighthouse as well as a variety of shopping and restaurants, ensuring that you won't have far to go to find additional vacation diversions. Great small cottage

We love the neighborhood where the cottage is located. Short walk to the beach. A lot of shade trees around the house.

Just okay

The house was fairly clean inside and enjoyed access to the pool. However, the stove does not work properly and the tree limbs need to be cut away from the front door and steps - had a black snake slither from the tree limb onto the front banister just in front of the front door last week during our stay. . Also, the furniture is old and dirty. For the price charged for this house, these items should be corrected. I reported these last year and nothing has changed.

Buxton beach vacation

This house had all that we needed for our vacation, there was just 3 of us. Plenty of pots pans and dishes & cups, it did need a can opener. Liked having the covered deck to sit and have our coffee in the morning, it could use some new outdoor chairs. The beds were comfortable and liked having 2 bathrooms. The Buxton plubic beach excess was very nice, was a little walk but we drove down to it at the end of lighthouse Rd, had a large parking area and porta potties. Liked having the outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach.
