Nestled in the heart of North Tallahassee, 'Low Country Living' is the perfect location for a lakeside reprieve. A Magnolia-lined drive leads to a calming oasis, with sweeping pastures and manicured lawns, porches-a-plenty, and cypress draped water frontage. The stunning three-story home is modernly appointed, yet relaxed, with an air of southern laid-back living, and offers endless recreation both inside and out.
The space:
Securely placed in one of Tallahassee's most sought-after neighborhoods, the community is safe, secluded, and offers a peaceful pond/park area for fishing or picnics. The pond is a must visit via Golf Cart, or leisurely walk with family/friends.
Perfectly perched on one of Tallahassee's most popular lakes, abundant outdoor recreation awaits -- a winding boardwalk leads to a large dock for sunset lounging, a fantastic public boat ramp is less than 3 minutes away for the fishing/boating enthusiast, and just 15 minutes away by boat is "The Fish Camp" for dining and entertainment -- the venue is well known as a must-visit by locals, almost always features live music on the waterfront, and has great food and cold beer.
Reminiscent of days past, the home touts southern-laid back living, porches complete with rockers for optimal relaxation, a game room, a home-bar for entertaining, an outdoor fire-pit, a private dock, and so much more.
The gameroom features pool, darts, shuffle-board, foosball, ring & hook, and a (stowed away, but easy to unfold) ping pong table. The bar has earthy hues, and rich mahogany wood tones for evening libations (feel free to use the cocktail mixers, glass ware, and soft drinks, but please bring your own alcohol), there's also a wine cooler behind the bar. Wanting an afternoon cigar? Simply step out onto the patio and lay back in a rocker (no smoking allowed inside).
The kitchen is fully-stocked, the dining room features a custom built farmhouse-style table, there's a smoker and a grill for the home chef, and screened-in porches for al fresco dining.
Each bedroom comes with its own private bathroom (two of three come with a jet jacuzzi tub). There's also a Pelaton if anyone would like to get a workout in.
Working from home? There's a dedicated office space overlooking the lake. There's also a full size laundry room on the second floor. With nearly every amenity imaginable, "Low Country Living" is the perfect Capital City getaway for the nature enthusiast.
At nightfall, Twinkling string lights, abundant wildlife, and crickets chirping culminate into a magnificent North Florida lakeside sunset as the sun slowly slips into the horizon.
