Wake up every morning to a panoramic view of the Newburgh-Beacon bridge, the majestic Hudson River and the mountains.
Ours is a 2200 square foot family home set on the corner of two of Newburgh’s most beautiful riverfront streets. The house dates from 1962, decorated with mix of mid-century style and eclectic antiques and artwork.
It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a Hudson Valley summer whether enjoying morning coffee and river views on the front patio, or chilling out around the fire pit on the deck while playing games in the backyard.
The master bedroom features vaulted ceilings and a separate lounge area with TV. There is a kids’ room across the hall with crib and two twin beds. They share a spacious bathroom with shower, 2 sinks, and clawfoot tub. There’s another bedroom downstairs as well as an office with a convertible sofa. The dining room and playroom open out into the yard, and the kitchen is big enough for an impromptu dance party.
The house is an ideal base for exploring Historic Newburgh, Beacon and the wider Hudson Valley. Our street is secluded yet 2 min from the highway and bridge entrance. You can drive or walk to the Newburgh Waterfront (including Hudson Taco) and Liberty Street's hip new shops and restaurants such as Ms. Fairfax, Liberty Street Bistro, Mama Roux, The Newburgh Brewery, and more. On the way, you’ll pass the ornate 19th century villas on Montgomery Street.
We’re a 10 min drive from Beacon train station and Dia, and about 20 min from Storm King Art Center and nearby trailheads. You can even walk over to Beacon by taking the pedestrian walkway 5 min from our doorstep. After about 500 feet, you’ll be overlooking the Hudson in all its grandeur!
