HOME INVASION/ROBBERY- Renters Beware!
We rent this property specifically because it was in a gated, secure community, as feeling safe was our top priority. Everything was amazing until the second to last night, when I woke up to an intruder inside my bedroom! My waking-up/screaming startled him and he ran out of my room, and then the house, but he had already taken money and credit cards. We made sure to lock every door and window, prior to going to sleep each night, but the service door near the kitchen only had a simple pushbutton lock, (no deadbolt or security latch) and that is the one he came through. It was an absolutely terrifying experience and we let the property manager know immediately. He said he was sorry it happened, but stated we really should have been more careful and should have locked our bedroom doors as well. When we asked for a refund for the last night, (because we went to stay at a hotel) he said he’d only do it if we signed an agreement that expressly prohibited us from leaving a bad review. We were not morally willing to hide our experience; we felt it was in the best interest for future guests to be aware of what happened. The property manager has since gone on to smear me and defame my character in an attempt to discredit our experience. I understand he has a vested interested in obtaining good reviews for the property, but his response and actions thereafter have been cruel and spiteful. It was a true nightmare, but we were very lucky; it could have been so much worse.

Property was very clean and of top quality of furniture and finishes. Enrique, Chiquita and Cilia made the best meals and were the sweetest. They made the trip more enjoyable. The pool was great for our grandkids as the ocean was to rough for them. Great time!

Amazing vacation
We had a wonderful stay at Casa Paraiso. The house was beautiful, the property and amenities were top-notch and the staff were amazing. We're already talking about another visit next year.

My girlfriends and I had the absolute best time here! The house, pool, and views are incredible. The access to the stunning beach club (with great food and drinks) was amazing - it’s a one minute walk away. What really took this spot to the next level was the attentiveness of the house concierge and the wonderful cooks who made us the most delicious food and best cocktails in town. Driving the golf cart into Sayulita was a fun adventure!
