The house was immaculately clean and the hostess Areca was outstanding. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and would definitely recommend this vacation home to friends and family .

Great time at OBX

House was a great place for our group of 4 adults and 2 kids (could have hosted many more!). Easy beach access and nice visibility of the beach / ocean, watching the sunrise from the top balcony was perfect.

Thanksgiving Beach Trip

The whole family enjoyed their time in Corolla. The house was perfect for my family and we really enjoyed beach and the view of the ocean from the deck.

Ideal setting

Great location to groceries and quiet beach. Beautiful sunrises and panoramic views from several decks. Accommodates families comfortably. Hot tub was a nice plus too.

Lovely oceanfront home

Very nice oceanfront home with beautiful views. Owner was very responsive to the very minor issue we had. Kitchen quite well equipped. Would definitely stay there again!

Great Location! Ocean Views from Every East Facing Window!

Great rental! The house is showing its age but still safe and comfortable. Good vibes, fun atmosphere, has everything you need, lots of books to read and lots of stairs to climb which I enjoyed for the extra workout. The property manager was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Right on the ocean

Perfect long weekend stay for my immediate family of six. If the beach is your priority, this is the rental for you. Also very close to supermarket, restaurants, etc. We would come back in a second.

Truly oceanfront with great views. Inside was clean and functional. As a previous review stated, the inside is dated and there are numerous small repairs and improvements needed to be a top tier oceanfront property.

WOW-Amazing Stay

This was a perfect place for our family of eight to celebrate our mother’s 80th birthday. It is perfectly located. Within walking distance to a Harris Teeter supermarket which has a Starbucks inside! An amazing bagel place called lighthouse bagel was within a five minute drive. The ocean view and sounds were blissful. Such an amazing weekend with great memories for our family.,Highly recommend

Great Stay!

House has a great view and is in a nice neighborhood. Close to restaurants and shopping without feeling like you were in a busy area. We were a group of about adults and 2 kids. Plenty of room to be together or separate. The house was clean and comfortable. Nice l, west facing screened porch with plenty of decks for looking at the ocean. Beach access very close with nice decking to walk over.

Best Vrbo Host/Hostess I've ever had

Really exceeded expectations. -Great location; both in proximity to shopping/restaurants down the road, and of course beach access. -Was a very quiet location in a private neighborhood as well. -The layout of the house was great, to include having some escape nooks for when anyone needed to rest or take a call/work. -Kitchen was well-stocked with all the utensils you could need for cooking and eating. In all, we plan to make this a regular destination for our family vacations.

Simply Fantastic!

Love this property and the property manager! We've been coming to the OBX, off and on, for almost a decade, and this has been our favorite location so far. First, you can't beat the location; right in front of the sand dunes that lead to the beach. We could hear and see the waves from our deck each morning and evening. The house was very clean, with comfortable beds and a fully appointed kitchen. We didn't need ANYTHING! Finally, Areca was so friendly and such a pleasure to work with in renting this property. I can't say enough good things about her. We will certainly earmark this location and be back really soon!

Perfectly adequate house, not fancy, not updated.

Property manager was responsive and accommodating, always a plus. House was probably built in the 80s-90s, not updated but comfortable. Only negative: it’s time for kitchen equipment—knives, pots and pans, can opener, etc to be replaced. We encountered a few broken or dysfunctional things. Hard to make a dinner for the family with this equipment.

Thank you, Kathleen! This house was purchased right before the season started and in NC we have to honor the reservations already in place (it was fully booked). We always had plans to update once we could block off time at the house. We've already fully stocked the kitchen with everything you could possibly need, updated the cabinets, started replacing fixtures and faucets and are also in the process of scheduling more updates throughout the house over the winter. I hope you can come back in 2023 when the house will be updated! ~Areca

Lovely Stay on Saltspray

When we made a last minute reservation to hit the OBX and found this beachfront property available I was worried it may not be up to par but it was great! The home was in a great location, VERY clean, offered plenty of space and had everything we needed for a week long stay. For planners... There are new pots & pans in the kitchen along with a new coffee maker, plasticware WITH lids and plenty of dishes, glasses and silverware. There were games and puzzles for those hours out of the sun or when it's raining. Beach chairs, boogie boards and a few beach toys were on site. Numerous balconies provided plenty of space for sunrises or sunsets. Hand soap, TP, PT, a few trash bags and dishwashing soap was provided to get us started. The agent was friendly and responsive and answered all of our questions. Of note... If you have a toddler or a pet who may run, bring a gate as all of the balconies on the ocean side of the house are connected by stairs that lead down to the street. There are multiple TVs in the home but they don't have local cable so you will need streaming services in many rooms. The only items in the kitchen needing updates are can openers and sharper knives, so pack a sharpener. There's no ice maker in the freezer but it will easily fit a bag of ice which is easier than refilling cube trays. This house worked perfectly for our family of 5 with kids ranging from ages 11-16, including our dog, and was worth the $$. We even had extra space!
