Fully stocked kitchen, large screened-in lanai area, dining area, and fast WIFI.Upon entry into Kona Plaza unit #220 you will feel right at home with the Hawaii feel and great vibe. The main bedroom has a California king bed, and Hawaii touches. The bathroom is located in the hallway for guests' use and has a bathtub shower combination.Enjoy the open layout of the living area, dining area, and kitchen. There is a pull-out sofa in the living room for extra guests. Cook dinner in the fully stocked kitchen and dine inside or on the screened lanai.The living area has a great indoor, and outdoor living area. A table with chairs inside the main living room and lovely Hawaii vibes. The lanai offers ample seating and is screened in. You can sit out and enjoy the Hawaii breeze and have some Kona coffee.Kona Plaza has two sunset decks with a large lanai, and BBQ grills for guests. Plus, enjoy the pool. This property is located in the heart of Kailua Kona and off Ali'i drive. You can have it all while staying in this property. There are also beach chairs and a cooler for your use.Please note:

Perfect Location

Overall the stay was fantastic. You could not be in a better location. Walking distance to the water, dining, coffee shops and shopping. I had to work while traveling and the internet worked well. The unit was perfect for myself and my husband and thought it could work if we had our teenage daughters with us. Everything was truly wonderful and we could not have asked for more.

Simple but convenient

Great location if you want to walk through downtown Kailua Kona every morning (which we did). The amenities are fine especially if you are adventuring out each day to see the island. It's not some 5 star ocean view but it's a good place to park yourself between adventures

Property was as advertised but . . .

The property was just as advertised with a remodeled kitchen, vinyl floors and many items in the closet for use such as beach chairs and an ice cooler. It was a real convenience to be able to walk to town which was just a couple of blocks away for shopping and restaurants. The unit had a great air conditioner and the kition was well stocked. It was great to have a washer/dryer to use. The neighborhood was very quiet. Now for the down side. The bedroom was a great disappointment! The carpet was very dirty (photos sent to management company), the foam pad on top of the mattress made the bed less comfortable in my opinion, and the linens were either old or of poor quality. Aside from the bedroom issues, the parking structure was undergoing a huge construction project to repair cracking and spalling in the top deck. The top deck parking was closed and the underground portion was a maze due to the huge jacks being used to shore up the upper deck. When I asked the management company about this they seemed completely unaware it was going on.

I had stayed in different condos in Kona Plaza in earlier years. I was sad to see how it had aged. Our condo was in need of upgrades: The mattress in the bedroom was not as comfortable as the hide a bed(which was in desperate need of cleaning) The shower head leaked, the faucets in the bathroom need more of a cleaning than we could give them. When the a/c was on you couldn’t go on the patio from the heat coming out of the heat pump. There was no safe in the unit so you had to take your valuables with you whenever you left.The knives in the kitchen needed sharpening. The scaffolding in the basement was a little concerning. The condo is very centrally located and the pool was very clean.
