Terlingua house was absolutely amazing. Loved the layout, the location, and the comfort. All the amenities to make our first trip to Big Bend a memorable one! Such a convenient location if you are exploring the town of Terlingua or Big Bend. Would rent again and will recommend.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Loved the outdoor space and the view from the house. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning cooled great. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could imagine.Terlingua Ghost Town was less than five minutes away and it was very easy to get there for coffee or dinner. We would definitely return.

Our stay at the Terlingua House was everything we hoped for and more. The setting is absolutely magical! We loved the quiet mornings and the peaceful evenings under a sky full of stars. Perfect mix of comfort and wilderness!

Communication and check in prcess was very easy. Small grocery store in town has enough for a few days. Campfires at night under the stars was fantastic!! We brought a green laser pointer to pint at different constellations.

Big Bend Visit

Great Place - Terlingua

We had a group of 5 adults and 2 young children and Terlingua House was perfect! Location is wonderful, amenities are more than adequate and the peace and tranquility is second to none. It’s a stones throw away from the pizza joint, which we also highly recommend.

Long Weekend Trip

Special house near Ghost Town

Ideal location for six to twelve people. Well appointed kitchen. Easy access to property. We have stayed at this house twice. Probably our favorite.

Relaxing Retreat

The property has great views of the Chico's mountains, along with numerous areas to sit and enjoy the views. Each day after hiking the Big Bend NP trails, we'd select where to sit on the property to relax and recount the days' adventures.

Unique property with great views

We loved the place. The rooms have great light and awesome views. It feels like a secluded desert lodge with a vintage feel. The kitchen was well organized and my family enjoyed the space.

It was a great place to stay if you are planning to spend several days at Big Bend National Park. Patio was great for hanging out and catching up with old friends.

Very cool Terlingua vibe house

House has a very cool Tex-Mex feel and vibe. Has everything you would need. Decor is rustic. Secluded feel on top of small ridge, but close to town.

Great House!

The Terlingua House is amazing! It has everything you need to enjoy your stay in the Big Bend area. The sunrises and sunsets are amazing. The pizza place at the bottom of the hill is fun and delicious. We will be back!

Perfect getaway

The Terlingua Guesthouse is the perfect basecamp for any Big Bend expedition. Cara was easy to communicate with and a great host. Will be back as soon as possible!
