Close to the Lake George village, yet surrounded by trees and forest, The A-Frame Adirondack Cape features a three-seasons porch, wrap around tree deck for outdoor dining and large outdoor fire pit. There's a stream with a bridge that runs across the front entrance. The upstairs balcony has a two-person table and a coffee bar to enjoy the morning looking outdoors. Downstairs is is an entertainment space with a pullout sofa bed, television, dart game, foosball, air hockey, board games and more. Just down the road is the Gurney Lane Recreation Center and Gooney Golf and the Lake George village is a 7 minute drive away.

Great access to the Adirondacks!

Great short stay for our family. We loved the proximity to Lake George and were all pleasantly surprised with the features of the game room. Loved it, wish we could have stayed longer!

The property was great. Communication was excellent and home was clean. Our only issue was the temperature of the house. It was reading 70 degrees but was actually 64 and a little chilly for the kids. Extra blankets and all was well. The basement is a great place to hang out with darts, air hockey, foozball and plenty of space.

Very nice!

We had a lovely visit to lake George and the house was super clean and comfortable. The house is well appointed and communication with the owner was great. The location was close to everything we needed, whether on the lake to go boating or to six flags and Martha’s. We would highly recommend this house. Thank you for opening your home to us!

Nice house, great location, everything you need. There did seem to be a few items missed from the last guests. Dishwasher was full of dirty dishes, toiletries left in the bathtub, some garbage left in the slam baskets …

beautiful fall colors

The house was a great location for our purposes ( nearby wedding) with great trees showing off fall colors. It was a bit uncomfortable using the 2nd bathroom down a set of steep stairs. Glad I had young adults with me since I am elderly and could never have managed going down those stairs. Sheets were very thin as were the towels and should be replaced. I thinkg the price/day was a bit much for off season for this property.

Beautiful, spacious home!

We booked this for one night as we stayed as a halfway point on our way to Canada for a wedding. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer. Janel’s home was absolutely beautiful and so spacious. We could not stop raving about it. The game room is a really nice touch, but there’s also plenty of space to relax as well. Initially I had been trying to stay closer to downtown, but this is perfectly located and a short drive to the water. It’s very quiet and serene. The outdoor grounds were beautiful and so picturesque. We definitely plan on coming back next year for a longer stay! Thank you again Janel for being an amazing host!
