This is a tranquil vacation home with 4 bedrooms (all King beds) with large patio area and pool. Completely re-decorated in July 2022. The house has a really relaxed and comfortable coastal vibe, which we think you’ll love.
Location:
- in the peaceful residential neighborhood in SE Cape Coral
- Just off Cape Coral Parkway E, where you will find lots of restaurants, bars and shopping.
- Easy access to Fort Myers historic downtown, Fort Myers beach, Sanibel & Captiva and beyond.
Living area:
As you enter the home, you immediately get a sense of peace. You've found your vacation oasis! The living room area has plenty of comfortable seating, a 42" Roku TV with cable and access to all of the popular streaming apps, such a Netflix, Prime video, etc. There is a chill, low kitchen nook seating area with a view of the pool and outdoor seating. There are also large glass sliding doors leading directly out to the patio and pool area. Outside you will find a small "beach" area with hammock, perfect for an afternoon nap or a spot of relaxed reading.
Kitchen:
Accessed from the living area and dining area, it is fully equipped with all the major appliances, as well as many smaller ones, including a blender for those healthy morning smoothies (or cocktails!), a toaster, hand mixer, electric juicer and a wine refrigerator! There is plenty of dinnerware, silverware and pots and pans to create home cooked meals.
The coffee bar should satisfy all coffee lover's needs with both a drip coffee pot & Keurig machine, hot water kettle and starter amounts of coffee, pods, tea and sugar to get you going in the morning.
Dining/games area:
Through the kitchen is an area with a dining table for a more formal, larger sit-down meal. There are plenty of games for all the family and hours of fun.
Bedrooms:
The master bedroom is on the right side of the house and has a king size bed, Roku TV, a walk in closet and private attached bathroom with a walk-in shower. There are glass sliding doors with direct access to the patio and pool area.
On the other side of the house are 3 more bedrooms, each with a king size bed. All bedrooms have smart TVs and closets, with plenty of space for clothes and luggage storage. You will find bedding located in each closet. All bedrooms are equipped with luggage racks for convenience. These three bedrooms share a bathroom, with a tub/shower.
The laundry room has a washer and dryer and here you will find spare towels and beach towels. You will also find a starter amount of laundry products and cleaning products. The home is also equipped with a vacuum, broom, mop, iron and ironing board.
In the garage you will find a cooler, beach chairs, beach toys, pool noodles and pool floaties. We’d really appreciate it if you could return all beach items clean and ready for the next person’s use. There is also an inflatable pump.
Outside space:
There is a large patio area with covered outdoor dining (seating 6) and conversational seating for 4.
The outdoor chefs will love the grill as you can cook up a feast and still be in the midst of sociable conversation with everyone.
The pool is large enough to float for hours on one of the many floaties available, or take a nap poolside, on one of the loungers.
The home is professionally maintained and cared for throughout the year.

Guests will have full access to the property, pool area, yard and garage. There is parking for 2-4 cars on the driveway and you are also welcomed to park in the garage.
We manage this beautiful vacation home for the owners and are available by phone or text anytime during your stay. There will also be a comprehensive house manual at the property.

SE Cape Coral is a great location and base for exploring the surrounding areas and SW Florida as a whole. SW 48th Terrace is a quiet residential street and is situated just off Cape Coral Parkway E, where you will find many stores as well as restaurants, ranging from pizza to sushi and everything in between!
It is also located a couple of minutes from the Cape Coral bridge over to Fort Myers, with its lively historic downtown area, filled with restaurants, bars and shops. Fort Myers beach is a 25-45 minute drive (depending on traffic - which can be heavy Jan-Mar) and Sanibel is a similar distance away. Naples, Bonita Springs and Marco Island are all a little further south, but easily accessible.
If you are lucky, you may spot one of the many beautiful Burrowing Owls that have made their home in Cape Coral. They are protected and make their home in the ground, as their name suggests. However, please respect them - observe from a distance, and do not feed them!
A top tip - the Cape can be confusing for drivers unfamiliar with the area, as there are so many canals and waterways. It may help to know that 'Streets' and 'Terraces' run east to west, and 'Avenues', 'Places' and 'Courts' run north to south. When looking for an address, be sure to have it correct. SW 15th Terrace, is in a completely different place from SW 15th Avenue, for example.
Also be aware that Veterans Parkway and Cape Coral Parkway bridges, that connect Fort Myers with Cape Coral, are toll bridges. Charges are done automatically and are around $5/car if you have a SunPass, or $7 with no SunPass.
There is also a comprehensive Uber and Lyft network if you don't feel like driving.
Please inquire BEFORE booking, about pets. We will consider some but would like to know something about them first. There is a $100 non-refundable pet fee.
The pool does not have a barrier, so children must be kept under supervision at all times in any outdoor areas.
Minimum booking age is 25.
Pets. We will consider small dogs (no cats) under 35lbs but ONLY with approval. Please inquire BEFORE booking and tell us a little about your furry family member. There is a non-refundable $100 pet fee. If we give permission for a furry guest, please ensure they stay off the furniture, beds and out of the pool.
Pool: Please note that there is no pool barrier, so children of all ages must be supervised at all times. You (occupant) agree to assume all risks associated with the use of the swimming pool and of the swimming pool’s existence on the property and will not hold the owner or property managers liable.
The pool can be heated and is serviced once a week (usually on Tuesdays but occasionally Wednesdays). Please do not touch the pool controls and please notify us if there is an issue. Thank you for your understanding!
This home is a private residential neighborhood, and we kindly ask that you respect the neighbors and community as a whole. Please keep noise down before 8am and after 9pm.
We know you will be considerate but understand that accidents do happen. If damage occurs during your stay, please notify the property manager immediately so we may assess and notify you of any replacement/repair charges if applicable.
Please read through the house manual provided online, and at the property, to familiarize yourself with the house and our expectations of guests.
