Thanksgiving Fun

We had a pretty good time staying in this home for Thanksgiving. We made dinner at the cabin and could have used a few more pans. The cabin was beatiful, but you could tell the house was possibly leaning because all of the doors shut on their own. The drive up to the cabin was steep. If staying in the winter you would definitely want a 4 wheel drive. It was nice how close the cabin was to all of the attractions in pigeon forge and gatlinburg. Overall we had a great time.

Last minute reservations

This property took our party of 14 quickly after another cancelled us with less than 24 hours notice of having a reservation for a year. We were all in route and had to book this with doing no homework on the property. It was able to accommodate our huge family aged 2-78 and was in a great location. We even saw a bear in the woods. We had minor issues like a leak in the fridge, burned out lights and the arcade broken the fist week. But, maintenance always came out when called and fixed the issues. Beautiful cabin!

Family Vacation

The house was very nice! Kitchen is small and has very little cooking materials, so if you plan on cooking during your stay check what they have first or you'll need to buy your own stuff to cook with. We had a few issues while we were there, dryer quit working, fridge was leaking water into the floor but once we alerted the rental place, those issues were quickly addressed (within the same day). Communication was very good and they tended to our needs well. There was a arcade game downstairs in the game room that didn't work, but the one upstairs did. The views from the large porches were amazing, we seen bears everyday somewhere. We never felt threatened by them, they were just passing through. One mama bear had 3 babies. The only complaint that I really have is that the cleaning crew did not do a good job cleaning from previous family staying. I had to clean the toilets cause they were dirty, found random dog toys under the couch, I needed to sweep the floors. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we'd definitely stay again. There are some issues that you always expect, when you rent a home out on a weekly basis to a different family every week....you need to be optimistic that things will not be perfect!

Needs help

Very disappointed in this cabin. It has lots of bedrooms but very little living space. Kitchen is small and doesn’t have basic kitchenware. We had to buy strainer, Tupperware, etc. Garbage was all around cabin- broken glass by fire pit, garbage strewn out around property. Beds were very hard and carpets were nasty. We were missing blankets from beds and called management and were told they would bring some that morning. Took 2 days for them to bring us any. Would definitely not recommend until some major TLC, deep cleaning and improvements were done.
