Lot J47 - CASA CRISTAL DE MAR

Casa Cristal de Mar (Sea Glass House) is onlangs gerenoveerd (november 2016) met grote upgrades en toevoegingen overal. We hebben ons huis opgezet voor onze frequente bezoeken, met alle gemak dat beschikbaar is voor ons en nu JIJ.

Dit huis is opgezet voor pure ontspanning. Surf, loop of ren op het prachtige kilometerslange witte zandstrand op slechts twee minuten lopen van het huis.

Hang rond in een van de twee hangmatten terwijl je dat boek leest dat je wilde pokeren. Hang rond in de Rancho terwijl je naar de apen in de bomen boven je kijkt. Elke slaapkamer heeft een eigen complete badkamer en een eigen ingang aan de patio met totale privacy. Perfect voor vier koppels of twee gezinnen.

Als u uw werk moet meenemen of gewoon in contact wilt blijven met familie en vrienden, neem dan uw computer mee en maak verbinding met onze WiFi-verbinding en sluit deze aan op onze Magic Jack-telefoon voor GRATIS oproepen naar de VS en Canada.

We loved our stay! The kitchen was well stocked, the location is great within walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beach.The owner and the management company were very responsive. We would definitely stay here again .

Great stay in an awesome spot

We enjoyed our vacation time walking distance to the beach the road into here is a bit treacherous but we were able to navigate with a 2wd suv.

Amazing Pura Vida

We spent the week with grandparents here and loved it. Close to the beach, close to really good restaurants, amazing bakery. Would recommend renting a golf cart to get around. Max, the property manager, is responsive and accommodating.

We had an amazing stay. The property was spacious. The bedrooms were. Ice and cold and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and the outdoor area was fantastic!

11 of us stayed for just over two weeks and it was so perfect. Very spacious with so many perfect areas all over the property that no one was ever on top of eachother! The grounds and gardens are beautiful and the house is very clean. The kitchen was beyond stocked with anything you could possible need. Butterflys everywhere, so many iguanas and the monkies visited the house almost every day! The house is very private and it feels like your own oasis. The pictures are exactly as the house appears. The location is amazing. Can walk to almost anythng you need and the beach was so clean! We rented a golf cart for the two weeks from limo dan and it was a fun add on and we used it to grocery shop and travel to a few different beaches. The host was so resposive if we needed anything. Would recommend this house for sure and hope to go back one day.

This house has a great location. It is about a four minute walk to the Best beach and right by a surf shop and several nice cafés. The house was clean. There were lots of pool towels, bathroom towels, and beach towel, towels, and we really like the pool. The kitchen was also well equipped for cooking although we didn't do much cooking.. three of the bedrooms were very nice with spacious bathrooms and lots of hot waterOne of the bedrooms was small, cramped, musty, and pruned bugs. That was the designated kids room with the bunk room and a double bed but if four couples were going and all needed separate adult type rooms, I'd hate to be the person who drew that straw.

Hi Brenda, Thank you so much for your mostly wonderful review. I especially appreciate your honest feedback regarding the Casita. Agreeably, it is small and although not specifically "designated" as a kid's room, having the twin size bunk beds does allow for extra sleeping for adults traveling with their little ones :) I would like to point out though to perspective tenants reading this, that is actually a queen bed in the room (not a double). I am sorry to hear that it was musty though, my apologies. It is possible that the room had not been recently used and had been closed up for some time. Either way, not acceptable and I will take this up with my maintenance and cleaning teams right away. As for the bugs, it is the jungle and those little buggers do sometimes try to invade our space no matter how hard we try to keep them out. Again, I will address this right away with my maintenance team. I am truly sorry that you had to experience those conditions. And again, I really appreciate your feedback, as it helps keep us on our toes and improve as needed. Thank you and Happy New Year!

The best stay in Costa Rica

The property was so peefect for us. We travelled with 3 adults 4 older teens and a 10 yesr old. It was clean, the kitchen was better appointed than all ove the vrbos/aibnb weve ever been in. It's a real working kitchen. There was plenty of wildlife visits. It is super close to beach and shops but far enough away to be out of the bustle. I would stay there long term. We came in town to look at properties and rentals and nothing bested our vrbo.

Just WOW! Amazing time in Nosara at Casa Crystal de Mar. The property was clean, spacious and spot on with the pictures you see on VRBO. As stated in previous reviews, Property Managers went over and above to accommodate our group of 10. They had all the essentials of groceries on site upon our arrival (arrived at dinnertime) we were able to prepare dinner and wake up to coffee and breakfast. We rented two golf carts from Limo Dan's in town (a short walk away) which made getting around effortless! We rented surf boards from Selva Surf School and our 9 and 6 year olds took surf lessons. Horseback riding from the house along the beach at sunset was amazing! In house massages were arranged and all agreed one of the best massages ever received. We walked to La Ventanita several times for morning coffee/breakfast/lunch/drinks, great food and vibe... Thank you Donnelle for opening your property to our family... memories to last a lifetime!

Great place!

Wonderful stay. Pablo met us at the house and was very informative. Property was as advertised. We even managed to sleep outside one night! Beach was a short walk and the pool was refreshing. If you like adventure, we recommend surfing lessons with Nelson, Macho ATV tours, Miss sky canopy, the "booze cruise" and if your lucky enough to be there when the turtles arrive or go back out, ask for Fransisco to take you. Definitely recommend!

Amazing Nosara Location!

Honestly the pictures don’t do it justice- absolutely great place to travel with 1-2 families with kids. We were able to walk to the beach easily with young children and get to the main strip in town. Cute breakfast place and coffee shop close by with an excellent pool for afternoon swims! property manager was an excellent source of information and help. 5 starts - would def come back! Raccoons visit during the night so be mindful of not leaving anything out. We heard and saw howler monkeys around the property daily which was a highlight for kids:)

Wonderful home for large groups

A fantastic home and just right for a family vacation with separate rooms and bathrooms and outside areas that allowed everyone to have plenty of space of their own and enough space to come together for dinner. Beach is easily walkable. Lots of places to eat close by including vegan and vegetarian options. And plenty of activities for the kids. Pablo, the concierge, helped me schedule everything, kept me up to date, and was very helpful. He was invaluable. I'd absolutely stay again.

Could not have been more perfect

This place was the perfect spot for 13 firemen on a much needed getaway. Booking was simple, Pablo was wonderfully accommodating. When we arrived, Kathy greeted us with all the information we could need and even drove me to the local store to grab some snacks and beer for the fellas. Located in an ideal spot with a brief walk to surf or grab a coffee and a quick bite at Ventanitas. Everyone had such a great time. Thank you!!!

Perfect place for all ages!

We loved staying at Casa Cristal de Mar. The property was perfect for the 9 of us. We ranged from almost 2 years old to over 65. The pool was great, in the shade in the afternoon. Bedrooms were comfortably air conditioned. There were many sitting areas outside with overhead fans. The property manager was very attentive. The walk to the beach was about 5-10 minutes. There were some nice places to get food or drinks just a few minutes away. Monkeys and iguanas were plentiful. Everything worked wonderfully and we had a great time.

Family vacation in Costa Rica

The property has a great location within Nosara (beach). Everything you need is a short walk or golf cart ride away. The pool was great and worked well keeping our 9 and 11 year olds occupied. The outdoor living space was large enough to give everyone a space to relax. The gated yard felt safe day and night. One of the biggest pluses about this property is the concierge service. The team was awesome and helped us book activities before we arrived and also helped us while onsite. I highly recommend leaning on them for help making the best of your trip!

We are a very busy family of 5 from Manhattan Beach, CA. Dad and the teen boys are avid surfers and think that Costa Rica is 'off the hook' for surfing !! They hope to get our youngest daughter to join them out on the Playa Guiones waves soon (she stood up her first time out !!). Mom just enjoys strolling the beach in search of amazing shells and sea glass. We will be visitors to our home often, and eventually plan to make Guiones our part time retirement home.

Waarom de eigenaar deze accommodatie gekozen heeft

After only one visit to Playa Guiones, we knew we wanted to buy property there and build our future retirement home. On our second visit, we rented this home and found out it was on the market. Soon after returning home, we gave up our search for a vacant lot and made an offer on this property. Gary has always had such a great eye for making things the best they can be - and so began our newest project - a new addition and remodel of our new home away from home. And because this house has been such a positive experience, we doubled down and built another house just 4 houses south on the same road :)
