Our gated community and the lake access are truly private;
only guests/residents to the properties are allowed on our resort. This makes Salt spring resort truly private and secure.
There are lots of excursions nearby. Some include Springs, ATV, horse riding, zip-lining, fishing, snorkeling, scuba and more.

Experience a different lifestyle with the camper. You have all the accommodations of a condo but in smaller space. Camper is equipped with gas stove, fridge, air conditioning, WIFI internet. Smart TV

There is a one time $10 resort fee to be paid when you fill out registration form with the front gate.

Major appliances broken

Stove and oven did not work. Coffee maker did not work. Sheets had stain so i bought new sheets. Bathroom door only slid halfway.. falls off half the time..toilet paper holder falls off vacume cleaner broken in half..i guess that wasn't for me to worry about anyway..since we we hardly there.everytime you t my friends stayed there over Thanksgiving and had to be moved because the oven didnt work..still not working 5 months later. Luckily we know many people in the park and ate and cooked with them at their places.

Sleeping with the geckos

First the good: Clean unit Nice park Nice deck Very friendly people in the resort Now the bad: Not as described there were no bikes, no kayak/canoe and no beach towels (we didn’t need the towels). We didn’t bring our bikes or kayaks and these were not present which put a real damper on our plans. The property is in need of maintenance. Here is a list of some of the problems: 1. Screens broken had to tape cardboard over one to prevent the lizards from coming in; 2. Some windows don’t close fully; 3. Bathroom vent cover broken so it can’t be closed making it hard to heat the trailer with a 12”x12” opening in the ceiling; 4. Fireplace trim broken; 5. Some broken blinds; 6. Kitchen faucet was defective but fixed 2 weeks after we mentioned it; 7. Smoke detector was not working took more than 2 weeks to repair; 8. LP gas and CO detector not working; 9. Air condition vent covers falling off because they are just taped on; 10. Stove vent and light don’t work; 11. Trailer not properly stabilized it shakes with every step; 12. Vacuum cleaner handle broken so can’t be used an upright. I would not recommend this place for a longer stay especially in the winter

Nice quiet RV Park

If you've never camped before, this would be a nice place to stay to kind of get your feet wet to see if you like that lifestyle. Park was very quiet with beautiful walks through the trees and scenery. The camper was comfortable for the two of us and was exactly as pictured. The only problem we had as far as check-in was not the fault of the owner but of the RV park itself. We came in after dark and were just waved through at the guard shack. When we couldn't find the lot and came back no one was in the guard shack but a local resident helped us. About half an hour later a different person came through and told us what we should have done and handed us a tag for the car. We enjoyed a couple of the trails within a few miles from the park. This is definitely a place to go to if you're comfortable being more in the wilderness and not needing to leave frequently to be entertained. Bath house was very clean and all the residents were extremely friendly. We found that the camper had everything that you would need to be comfortable for a stay there. If I had to say anything negative at all, it would be the fact that the facilities that you're allowed to use such as the pool and hot tub were not available to our use while we were there. Again, this is not on the host but of the RV Park itself. I would enjoy staying here again.
