Make sure you let them know you’re going to be there.

Check in was easy and we were pleasantly surprised and how comfortable this stay would be after a 11 hour drive. The beds were firm which was great for us. We had several nights of great sleep. We do recommend that you contact the owner before you check in. Unfortunately he was unaware that he had tenants. After our long drive we were exhausted and fell fast asleep…that is until we were abruptly waken by loud banging on the door at 11pm. It caused an immediate adrenaline rush as we had no idea who was trying to get into the home. After a little investigation we saw someone standing outside the bathroom window looking at his phone. He identified himself as the owner and that he was unaware that anyone had been booked that weekend. I guess he doesn’t do much business through VRBO. All in all it was a pleasant stay except for the one issue. It was also missing half of the art that is shown in the listing and the place itself was not in the best condition.

This is a full second floor Apartment with two bedrooms, a full kitchen, laundry room and bathroom.

The apartment sits above a dental office which was not open during the time of our stay, which was around Christmas week, which made it very quiet and peaceful. The apartment is located within a short walking distance from Target and Ralph's, for supplies and food, and Lake Street with scores of stores and restaurants. Private parking is located in the back of the building which made it very convenient for loading and unloading supplies and luggage.
