We stayed for 2 weeks as work got done in our home. The linens and towels were clean, and the king bed and the shower were fantastic. Unfortunately, there was no patio furniture, the carpet was wet, the front and back doors had some gaps with the frames that allowed pests in, and a hole in the wall behind the fridge that had a parade of ants. The mini fridge doors had food residue that attracted the ants. The overall cleanliness of the rest of the apartment was good, but when we arrived, but there were also no cleaning solutions available besides dish soap and hand soap. Many of the fixtures, like the towel rack, mirror, and key hooks seemed to have been ripped out of the wall before and were either not replaced, or put back without being properly secured. Since we live in the neighborhood, we were able to improvise with some things from home. The host was able to provide things like extension cords and replacement curtains, they took our concerns gracefully, and I do believe they will be fixing some these issues. I think this just tends to happen when the owners don't live on/near the property. Overall, I would recommend the stay for a weekend, especially if you want to be able to walk into the Tower District night life.
