Beautiful house, exactly as listed. Very clean and nicely stocked kitchen. We really enjoyed all of the outdoor space and the hot tub. Fantastic stay and we would not hesitate to stay again.

Everything was as advertised - beautiful home with really nice layout and decor! Bed in Master was extremely comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with everything plus some. Walk down to sitting area by the lake was well done and safe - enjoyed the sitting area and perfect lake views often! Highly recommend!

My family really enjoyed the place and the stunning view from the house. Was a relaxing getaway.
Stairway down to the lake led to an amazing sunset photo capture.

It’s a wonderful location. Pictures are very accurate very relaxing and a wonderful place to chill and or have your family.The lake is low, which is not a typical for this area and that is out of everybody’s control.I would definitely come back here.

It was a wonderful stay. My family was very happy and we had tons of fun. Hot tub and the fire pit were very relaxing in the cold weather.

Bridgette was very responsive and helpful. Her handyman, Robert, was quick to assist us and friendly. We enjoyed our stay. The view was amazing. The hot tub stopped working after the first day of our stay but Bridgette and Robert did their best to try to fix the issue. The kids ventured to the shoreline and found arrow heads. The house has a great set up.

Bridgette was an amazing host! She responded promptly to every question and was incredibly accommodating. We happened to be visiting during the Hill Country flooding in July 2026, and when road closures and flooding left us with nowhere to go, she graciously allowed us to check in early. That kindness made a stressful situation so much easier.The property itself is outstanding—beautiful, spacious, thoughtfully furnished, and stocked with everything we needed. The view is absolutely incredible and made our stay even more memorable.We were also fortunate to witness a remarkable moment in Canyon Lake's history. When we arrived, the lake was about 60% full, and by the time we left, it had risen to approximately 95% full following the historic rainfall. It was even more beautiful!We usually vacation along the Florida Panhandle, but this year we decided to try something different. To our surprise, one of our sons said he enjoyed this trip even more than our Florida vacations! That's about the highest compliment we could give.We can't wait to come back and stay here again. Highly recommend!

Peaceful and beautiful stay

Loved the location right on the lake. Very quiet neighborhood. House was very comfortable for my wife and daughter. We had lots of room and all the bedrooms are upstairs, so early risers don’t wake everyone up.

Had a wonderful time at Anchors Away! Place was clean and views are spectacular! The owner was very nice and was very accommodating. The house is so welcoming and cozy. We would highly recommend and look forward to staying here again!

Beautiful place

We had such an amazing stay with my family to celebrate Mother’s Day. This place is even prettier in person than the pictures. We loved the back porch with the hot tub and fire pit. It was the perfect location to hang out and watch the sunsets. The property owner was very welcoming.
