INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Quiet Stay on 30-A

We stayed in this beautiful home for 6 nights and wished we had booked it longer! I read some of the reviews for other Prominence properties and people were crabby that there’s no direct beach access. They obviously didn’t read the description! We enjoyed being off the beaten path and away from touristy Panama City and Destin. The closest public beach access is a quick two minute drive east on 30-A. There’s public parking and if you take the golf cart, it’s pretty easy to get a spot. There are a lot of stairs, but the upside is trash cans and an outdoor shower to rinse off. Whatever you do, DO NOT shop at the Publix in Santa Rosa! The prices are ridiculous and it’s so crowded you can barely move. There’s another Publix in the opposite direction to the east that’s much better and not too far. Prominence itself is cute and the pool is big. The Big Chill was nice with plenty of shops and places to grab some ice cream or a bite to eat, and the stage area has live music. We really, really loved our stay and definitely will be back! A few downsides; the first level floors looked clean, but our feet and socks were black after 5 minutes of walking around. DEFINITELY hadn’t been mopped in a while. The dryer takes several cycles to dry a load of towels/bathing suits. The vent needs to be cleaned. We wished there were some large cookie sheets and a 13x9 baking dish for breakfast casseroles and lasagna. The pool area needs more grills. Long lines to cook dinner.

Hot as a firecracker!

The condo was beautiful and comfortable! One of the bikes had a screw that scraped my nephews leg and another ones petal came off. We didn’t have an wrench to fix it. Enjoyed the paddle boards and golf cart. Wish the ice machine had been available as advertised. Would stay again !

Lovely, easy vacay!

This property exceeded our expectations! It’s clean, so welcoming and relaxing, and came with everything we needed. The only thing missing is private beach access, but we loved being in a central 30A location across from The Big Chill shops and near all our favorite restaurants. We enjoyed a seamless and beautiful vacation.
