Property is fine management company was TERRIBLE
Received some information about the property 2 minutes after scheduled check in when requesting it hours in advance. Information given: the code, information not given: the actual unit number of the property. There were 4 to choose from at the address and we got lucky at door number 2 ( the second one we tried). I thought “oh well at least it was door number 2 instead of 3 or 4.” Next jewel was the potato chip crumbs on the floor followed by unmade beds. Attempted to contact the management listed on the VRBO app multiple times with no answer. Attempted to message via app, no answer. Finally called VRBO and they had an “alternate” number I could not view from the app. Finally got in contact with the property manager who was VERY rude on the phone. By this time it was an hour after scheduled check in and I asked in the midst if excuses, if I needed to try to find somewhere else to stay since I was getting no information and in the scheme of things felt a little late to be looking for a place to stay with two kids. Her reply “Maybe you do, I have 147 properties I am managing and I can’t contact the cleaning services if you call every 30 seconds.” Note: 2 calls 5 minutes apart. After being told “I have no missed calls so you must be calling the wrong number “(also known as the one on the app), I got her number and waited 15 minutes to call her back. This time I was told the cleaning crew had left early for a family emergency, smelt fishy. Hope it wasn’t true. Disappointed.
