I've communicated with the host weeks ahead of the booking and she was responsive. Less than 24 hrs before check-in she messaged me saying the apt i booked was not available as the place got triple-booked. She offered a different apartment in the same building. I had to agree as there was no way to find anything else at the last moment. The replacement apt was much smaller and without a view - not quite worthy of the price, even considering a small discount offered to compensate for the trouble. The apt was in a great neighborhood, in the heart of the city, cute, comfortable, clean, and original art decor added a unique touch. There is little sound insulation, we could hear voices and steps in the hallway as if they were inside the apt. I got charged the full original price. Moreover, a VERY substantial "security deposit", withdrawn from my card since the time of booking, had not returned when i checked 2 weeks after the trip. So I messaged the host and 2 hours later got the discount applied and the deposit returned. So it all worked out OK at the end but I would not rent from this host again.

I like the feel of the old age style. Great corner place. So many walkable places to eat and drink. I would stay at this location again and to make sure I us the Free Parking spot. just for information the parking spot is not located next to the Apartment. Make sure you read your reservation. My mistake...

Great location. Place is absolutely lovely. Owner is a pleasure to deal with. We had trouble with the lock and she got back to us immediately and fixed it. Would definitely stay again.

Waarom de eigenaar deze accommodatie gekozen heeft

You really can't beat the location! Located right on India St which is the main street of Little Italy. You'll really get the experience of living like a local and the convenience of everything the neighborhood has to offer. Plus the apartment is gorgeous. The building is historic. Built in 1886 with a later 3rd floor addition in the late 1990's. It gets a lot of sunlight and all around has a great vibe. I try to keep it updated by changing the art and furniture around so it might vary a bit from the photos.
