We had a great time here. The only thing that bothered us was no air conditioner. We sweat quite a bit and it's so warm and humid all the time that it's difficult to cool off. It would have been nice to have a small unit in one room that we could cool off in the afternoons. The deck around the house is amazing with beautiful views of sunset at dinner. Loved being so close to the ocean. Did not like the 10 min drive to leave the neighborhood. Cheryl is a great host and communicates very well. The house has a lot of room and everything you need except food.

The description of the place is exactly what we got! Peaceful area, great house for my family to stay two weeks on Hawaii. We accomplished our goal to explore the whole island and were able to return each night to a beautiful deck and comfortable beds! This place had everything we needed and the host was always available. No complaints, my husband, two kids, and I had a great time! Swimming hole was good for snorkeling. Snorkeling at "Two step" is less than an hour away. At night, the star gazing is unbelievable.

Cheryl’s place is absolutely fantastic! She has thought of everything; you’ll find anything and everything you could possibly need and more. Her attention to detail is exceptional, and she made our entire stay effortless from start to finish.The swimming hole just steps from the house is truly magical and was perfect for snorkeling. Cheryl provided beach towels, snorkel gear, and boogie boards, which made enjoying the water so easy.Our family had an amazing experience, and this was easily one of our favorite places we’ve stayed. We can’t wait to come back and will absolutely stay with Cheryl again!

Cheryl was a very responsive host. House was in good condition. No AC but generally not needed. View was very nice. Overall very quiet area but occasionally a dog barking or a neighbor playing music during the day. Kitchen supplies were the usual VRBO assortment. Bed was comfortable. One downside was the long drive up and down the hill to get to the main road. On the other hand this is likely what makes the area so quiet. Sunsets were very nice. Overall, a very enjoyable vacation.

Cheryl is a great host. There is an abundance of information on activities to take in during the stay. There was a bottle of wine awaiting my arrival and weade friends with some gecko. The house was clean and well stocked with little amenities.

Great house for larger families. Big deck with a wonderful view of the ocean. We came when they had high surf and the waves were specular. Cheryl was there to answer any questions about the house and the area. She gave great advice to shop before coming to the house-no local grocery stores and which mosquito repellant was the best to use. Thanks for the great stay.

Cheryl was amazing to work with. From initial contact right up to check out. The house is amazing and has everything, besides food, that you would need. The view is perfect, and the neighborhood is quite and friendly. Cheryl checked in a couple timesvia text to make sure everything was good, and offered recommendations for things to do. All four of us were very pleased and will definitely book with Cheryl on our next visit.

The host was wonderful and very helpful with anything we needed and all questions we had! The house was very well stocked with bathroom toiletries (shampoo/conditioner/soap/lotion), so it was very helpful when we got in late and hadn’t had time to get to a store. Kitchen had everything needed for staying in and cooking and the grill worked wonderful for a family cookout! Wonderful views from the deck and the neighborhood was quiet and relaxing! Highly recommend!

Wonderful remote property on the island

Once you know that there aren’t many sand beaches on the island this property really shines. There’s a local swimming/fishing hole within easy walk, and then it’s central to exploring the other attractions around Kona and Volcanoes

You want to stay here!

An incredible property with a lovely hostess. The home has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Lots of space for a big group to spread out. Amazing, rural location with easy access to the highway and civilization.

Beautiful location! Plenty of room

This is a beautiful place. Plenty of room for our family. 3rd bedroom does have a separate entrance but, it was fine for our older kids! Beautiful drive to get there and beautiful views. It is a drive from bigger areas but, we travelled most of the island so it was kinda in the middle. Would definitely stay there again

The house accommodates 10 people, you do have some stairs and the wrap around deck is where we spent all our time. At the Big Island everywhere is a drive to get to, so plan accordingly. The home is clean and stocked with all kitchen and bathroom necessities including beach towels, coolers, for picnics, and beach toys! Host is available in person or by text at anytime to answer questions or concerns. Enjoy a relaxing vacation with Ocean views in Hawaii.

Beautiful Home with everything you need

The property has everything you could hope for. Space, plenty of sleeping arrangements, toys and things you might need for your trip, beautiful views from a gorgeous porch, and one of the most helpful and gracious BnB hosts I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Amazing Stay

Great host, great location. About an hour from Kona, definitely need a car to get around to other areas of the island. But the area is very scenic so the drives were nice. The host was really responsive and left us a bottle of wine and chocolates. Would stay at the house again.
